Sorry you feel grotty Pap, whether or not we should have tunes, if you feel poorly you need to do whatever it takes to make yourself feel a bit better. In the general scheme of life, a week or so out of kilter is not going to make that much difference to the end goal. You have done so well so far that a few tunes will not harm, they're just your tlc in a packet:D.
Weigh in had to be cancelled, re-scheduled for next week. Time away was ok I suppose, work stuff.......so back on cd with a vengeance now. I don't like not having a pink stick!!!!
Keep up the good work guys 'n' gals :T:T:T0 -
ps, hope your weigh in tomorrow is a pleasant surprise pap x0

Love your new avi Pap

Thank you for the welcome Pap. Hope you are feeling better and that your weigh in went well.
Met with my CDC today and have decided that 810 is the best plan for me at the moment. Has anyone got any experience with this step?
Another thing, does anyone mix the shakes away from home with any success? I have bought what I thought was a battery operated blender which is in fact a frother and so far all of my shakes at work (I like to have them hot at lunch time) have been lumpy! Any advice will be gratefully received.0 -
Hunbun ~ Thanks for your support, yes one week inst teh be all and end all is it? Also the nature of my job means I cant be ill for long. Its actually all but gone now so woo hoo
I guess a cancelled weigh-in isnt too bad, that means if this is a semi first week you could lose up to 6lb+ :j Hope your stick is pink soon.
beanie ~ Thanks :A
Keywee ~ 810 is fab. Everyone on SS/SS+ has to go up to 810 on there 12 week anyways and I have done once and just about to soon. Its easier than SS+ as you have the added extra of milk (for your tea/a glass) and bigger portions for your meal. Losses can be less than on SS as you arnt in ketosis but its not uncommon to lose 3.5lb a week on 810 so its not too bad. the thing I would say though is try and vary your evening meals so stir fry/salad/roast/veg kebabs etc otherwise it becomes boring too quickly.
Regarding shakes away for home have you tryed a shaker. It dosn't have to be the cambridge one it could be any protien shaker. It has this mesh inside it that removes all lumps... However even when you use ice cold water it still comes out warm so you could use half the water, shake and then add the second lot of water or add ice cubes to make it cool down. Worth a try anyways. Do you not like the pre-made tetras you can buy then?
~~~~~~~~~
For me at weigh in I stayed the same :rolleyes: We think the tunes refilled my gycogen stores and thus kicked me out of ketosis. So back to plodding on. I will test in a few days and hope I am back into ketosis
Hope everyone is having a great week :j0 -
Beanie my determination is such that there is no fail present with me at the moment. My eyes are fixed on the prize/my goal and nothing will stop me getting there using CD. It may take me 8weeks, it may take me 18. I may have 2/3 weeks where I have stayed the same but thats life, I will not remove my focus/my eyes... I will get there come hell or high water.
40lb's to my goal and the another 14lb to my forever goal... I will get there and thanks to the suport I get on here and from other it makes the journey bearable :j
And as yet another new sig says ~ There is no telling how many miles you will have to run while chasing a dream.0 -
