Thats so true Beanie but the doctors and certainly my old CDC was totally all about bmi. Hence why I agreed to the super low target. I think I will look sick at that weight though, so thats that. My new target will be the ultimate 100lbs lost, thats to me is a huge achivement in itself so that will do me just now. Once I am there if I want to go lower then that will be cool. The only big problem I can see is I would like to become a CDC like seriously but I think you have to be at bmi so I would need to lose the last bit.
Anyways we will see what happens.... Thanks for the well wishes I am sure it will be fine, have no other choice now :T0 -
Hello from the LL cuckoo in the midst
I've been off the waggon for about 2 weeks, went on holiday with DD for a week, coming back yesterday....and oh my goodness, I've put on 1stone 4lb!!
This has taught me (a) I'm not as sorted as I thought I was around my relationship with food and (b) I'm a lardass, lol. However, I'm feeling good as I've put on less than I thought I had and I'm back on the diet now, so am hoping that by Thursday night's group I'll have lost quite a bit of it, with my body going into shock again, lol.0 -
Hellooooo everybody:D Day 9 coming to a close. Wont have my first weigh in until morning of day 11.....just the way its worked out. I am doing ok, but I am itching for some food, not so much hungry, just desperate for something in my mouth! :EasterBun I have been having radishes with my teensy weensy meal, which actually now doesn't look so tiny, and in fact fills me up, BUT I want something to crunch or suck - roll on bars!
Pap, just done the maths, wow - you done good girl!!:T . You're on a roll...:rotfl:(ha, couldn't resist that!).
Quick question - when the 'stick' says that you're in ketosis, does that mean that the body is definately using fat for energy?
and finally, when will this revolting metallic taste in my mouth go away?
Keep it up guys xxxxxxx0 -
kitti ~ I hope you had a fabby holiday, dont worry too much about the weight. as you say it will soon drop off. I dont think any of our relationships with food will become stable untill we start eating and maintaining for real. Thats when the real hard work will start. but I do agree CC/LL does get you to that place and you do re-evaluate what you were putting in your body.
hun ~ Woo hoo, see we knew you could do it... It will be simple now. I cant wait to see what your weigh in is like :T I had the missing chewing sensation real bad... thats where my straws came in. I would chew the straw as I was having my shake. It cured it though and now I have no problems at all.
Haven't finished yetPlus thats was only within 16 weeks (haven't weighed for 3 weeks) so see how much you can do in that short amount of time. Great motivation :j
Yes the stick mean exactly that. that means you are burning fat for fuel and the shakes are just giving you the vit your body needs that wont get from fat. Obviously you will still burn the 90cal present in the shakes but its peanuts seeing as a average human burns up to 2000cal a day. The taste may go it may not, I dont get the taste or bad breath but I get really bad furry teeth (eww). It depends on the person ~ sorry
Keep going too :j0 -
Well, end of my first day back on the waggon and it's amazing how great I feel! I think whilst I was being rebellious, it was like I felt I had to have some of this, that and the other, to try everything again in the food and drink realm....as I knew that today would be the first day back on track, so I wanted to make the most of it.
Here's hoping that when I do eventually get to where I want/need to be, I won't have that attitude of cramming, I'll be more sensible!! (Fingers, toes and anything else crossed).
Yuk to the furry teeth/breath feeling, I didn't miss that over the last fortnight, lol.0 -
Nipping in to say good luck to all CDers! I lost lots on CD (over a looooong time cos I was naughty:o:p) and it really taught me how to enjoy healthy food rather than junk - to the point that due to stress I am now too thin for the first time ever!!! I wouldn't recommend the stress, but CD is well worth the effort!0

Yippee! 5lb lost overnight
Ok, ok, so it's water at this point, but it's a boost and is going to keep me on the straight and narrow! Roll on Thursday when hopefully I'll be not too much heavier than I was officially a couple of weeks ago

kittkins ~ Well done for a week at 100%. The first week back after a slip/week off is always the hardest. Congrats on the 5lb though and I have my fingers crossed for Thursday for you. Please let us know how you get on :T
faithcecilia ~ Congrats on your weight loss following the CD plan. Hope you stay an ideal weight forever....
Well I have visited my new CDC, however I dont think I will have the same relationship as I did with my original. I dont know she seemed a bit 'put out' by taking me onBut nevermever mind, all I have to do is be weighed and buy supplies. Such is life :rotfl:

Grr to your new CDC PAP, she should be grateful she's got (a) a new client who's so enthusiastic and dedicated to CD and (b) a new client who's going to be giving her some income!!
Lost 4lb overnight, woo hoo! Half way back to where I was in 2 days is awesome...and shows me that my body certainly likes to retain water, lol. I was naughty yesterday and had a bar at lunchtime whilst DD and I were out in town having a picnic, on LL you have to wait 4 days before having them, but it obviously didn't have too bad an effect on me
Tummy is rumbling now though.....roll on lunchtime!0
