you're probably right about the hair thing as mine never grew at all during CD... and was coming out strands at a time all the while...

soon starts growing back though... and so worth it.

  • Pap, thanks so much for the reply......I have managed a shake without hurling!!!! yessssssss success! My theory is that i will have to learn to get through them, if not like them! This is my medicine to make me better! Seriously though, I used a big blender instead of a stick blender, massive difference. And later I'm going to try your ice cream recipe (ice freezing as we speak:D.

Everybody is so supportive on here, I haven't told a soul about what I'm doing at the moment so its lovely to feel like I have 'extended friends'. Maz, wow, just looked at your piccies. Hope you feel like the million dollars you look.

So thanks everyone, inspiration forum this one:T

(By the way, my stick is pink!!!!!!!:j)

  • ta very muchly:beer:....coming to the end of day 4 now, I have to go to bed early to get me out of the evenin munchies, the dog is very not impressed! However, its kids in bed, dog in bed and me in bed with no arguments:D.

How you getting on with just going back on it for a week Maz? Do you find it hard?
  • Hunbun :j on your pink stick, dont worry on this diet you become accustomed to talking about any body function you can imagine, just take a look a the earlier posts in the thread :rotfl: Did you try the ice cream? Yes big blenders are fabby, it mixes the shakes much better and gets air inside them, I can tell because my packet and old amount of water (I dont follow the packets) now make 2 glasses :D Glad to see you are combating the munchie, distraction is always the easiest way... I tend to have loads of games bookmarked and carry my ipod around now so instead of reaching for anything I tend to play games for an hour or so. If its a weekend and your kids dont mind walking or whatever take them to the park or something... excercise, its free and no temptations :j

Hope you are still doing fabby

Me I am plodding alone, for some reason though I have dropped 4 shakes in the past week :o Its fine though as I have a small amount of back up but I get so upset and angry. I have no idea why its just an ice cream shake but I get really worked up  Also I am always damn cold again  When I first went into ketosis, ages ago now lol, I was cold for about a week but then I was fine, now I shivver all the time... Never mind though :rotfl: Baking cakes/biscuits/yummys tonight and tommorow for the family, I will not be tempted :T

Have a great weekend all :j
  • Hello lovelies!
How are you all? Hope you're all okay!
I feel I've neglected this thread!

Well, We've discovered the world of camping! Tent etc but with electric hook up! Sooooo bank holiday weekend we went away. Loved it!! Anyway, I went off plan for the weekend....Couldn't be blending me shakes whilst cooking bacon for t'other half & sprogletts could I?!
Returned home to a hectic week where I stayed off plan. I didn't go overboard with what I ate etc.....and I knew for certain I would be back on plan the following Monday (Mon just gone that is!).
So, had my weigh in this morning...Last weigh in was the weekend before bh...and I've lost 2lb this time. Very pleased! I'd said I'd hoped to break even. If I had gained then so be it and if I lost..then bonus! So bonus it is! Very pleased.
Well, just thought I'd pop in and let you all know I'm still 'with it'! A friend of mine has been inspired to join Cambridge SS as well and that feels good knowing I've spurred someone on!
I must admit it was hard this week being back to SS but I want to be slim soooooooo much that I knew I had to stick with it. I don't want to make the mistake of past 'diets' and quit. Then 12 months later see the people who were with me at the time all slim etc and end up thinking..'if only I'd stuck with it....I too could have been at goal etc etc'
    I'm sure you'll know what I mean!
Well I'll love yas and leave yas....for now lol. Bye bye <{;0)xx
    !!73lb lost!!
    29th June 2010 - Present Day

    Thank you Cambridge :D

Not yet Beanie, Monday morning. I have weighed myself on my scales and I think I have done well for three week but we shall see. The problem is I start doubting myself then I end up losing less  I have however amended my target weight. I wanted to get to 25 bmi so 9st 10lb for my height. However I have made that my ultimate goal now. My first and most amazing goal will be 10st 9lb so approx 3 st 6lb to go... So fingers crossed I can do that by my birthday :j Hope the new CDC agrees though
