  • Cherry, *hugs* I shall be thinking of you tommorow. Does your CDC take your measurements too? Maybe you will see a loss there this week instead of on the scales. yuk your soup sounds awful, I only tried one soup once and it was enough to put me off :rotfl:

    Right, I have just followed the instructions on getting through to this thread so fingers crossed it will work for next time,, thanks for that PAP. Still not heard from the cdc lady:confused:, hopefully sometime today and if not I shall phone her again. I really want to strike whilst my iron is hot , so to speak ( that sounds a bit rude actually !!!!:o).

    I love to read about everybodys journey, keep going...... I'm all for as much support as possible for us all, lets face it, we're all in the same boat, although I'm not in the boat yet - I'm still waiting at the harbour!!

    xx

  • Hi folks, this is my first day! Its surprising how you just delve into the biscuit tin without the brain even realising it!!:confused: But no, I have removed the aforesaid hand without it pinching anything naughty and have drunk more water than a fish.....

    Onward and upwards:T xx
  • hunbun, Glad you have subscribed. So today is day two for you, congrats :D I must say my worse day was day 4 but its so worth it. If you need to rant etc get on here and I will keep you on track :rotfl: I agree its great for us all to keep as a team and do this together. Its a hard diet and a controversial one too, so I dont feel able to chat about it with someone who hasnt done/on it. So its great having all of you as support :j Good luck with your second day :D

    cherry, Cheerleader_by_CookiemagiK.gif on your loss. I get weeks like that as sure as eggs are eggs I know I havent lost anything. But I do. And you are still avaerging out well compared to other CD dieters. keep it up.... :T

    So I still havent had an offical weigh in :rolleyes: Wont now till next sunday due to me having to go to a new CDC. The worrying thing is that I still havent an appointment. I will phone the new CDC tonight and hopefully get booked in. But I did do a sneaky weigh in today and I am under 200lbs :j I have never in my adult life been under 200lbs. So thats given me a big incentive to carry on. next target will be 100lbs lost... not long I hope.

    Have a great Sunday all :T

  • oooh I am strugglling. I hate milk and the shakes are making me retch. I have tried a couple of the soups, the chilli is ok but am wondering if its ok to do something with the packs to make them more palatable to me. I don't have any problem drinking gallons of water as thats all I used to drink pre cd any way. I feel really sick and actually can't face any more gloopy stuff. I haven't cheated, but how do other people who dont like milk cope? Am I just being pathetic:confused:...........

    PAP, you sound as though you have such a handle on the diet and also on your own motivation. CONGRATULATIONS on your (unofficial!) under 200, you must feel so proud of yourself.

    Well done to everyone else, having tasted the cd I admire you all:D.......I am about to try a butterscotch shake, can I turn it into angel delight somehow?:rolleyes:......

    Beanie, Thankyou, huge ammount still to go though but hey I am getting there :j

    Hunbun, I dont know what to do regarding the taste of shakes. I know there are ways to 'cook' your packs but it kills all the vitamins in the packs so are no good really. Have you tried tetras yet? I find them more syrup like than milky. Also have you 'made' ice cream yet? Thats how I have 2 out of my daily three. Basically crush loads of ice (21 cubes roughly) in sandwich bags with a rolling pin. Make your shake in your blender with a tiny amount of water, maybe 1/2 a cup of water. Then add the crushed ice to the blender and it makes ice cream. I adore this and could live on that alone. However do make sure you have a heafty blender as I have killed my first one :rolleyes:

    I dont know about motivation but I am 100% commited to this plan. People class it as a diet (I do too sometimes) but I dont see it in that way, I see it more as a journey and thats what is keeping me going. I havent been 100% since day one though, I have had two 'schedule deviations', one when I met up with people from mse and one when I had to go north or work. But in 18weeks thats not too bad :D I love motivating others though, especially on here and people in work, I dont know how I do it but when people start losing weight and I know about it they cant cheat while around me :rotfl:

    Yes you can :j and its not 'cheating' either. Speak to your CDC and in week three you can buy mix a moosse. Basically you add a powder to your shake and then put it in the fridge/freezzer (some I have spoke to says the freezzer is better). Then about 30min later its like angel delight. The tub ranges for £4.30~ £5 but it does like 30 servings or something like that. You are only allowed one MAM a day though :rolleyes: I havent had it yet because I adore 'ice cream' but by all means try it out if it heps you stay on track.

    ~~~~~~
    Nothing much for me today, I have booked my appointment with my new counseller though :j oh and I go my old pics from my old counseller. Such inspiration alone, I keep looking at them :rotfl:
    The only fabby CD kinda related thing is I have brought a new blender. I brought this one in argos when it was reduced to £10 when I statred CD thinking it would be fine. Well it was untill I discovered ice cream and killed it. So I ordered a new one from Amazon but it was rubbish and leaked through the unit :o So yesterday I went to a shop and looked at loads and brought this one for £20... Its amazing. Even just the normal shake and water tastes much smoother and less like powdered shake. Its amazing. Going to try the ice cream later... I hope I dont kill it :rotfl:
    Keep going all :j
