Well done Cathy, 7lbs is great!!

Yes you need to watch the alcohol, but you will be a cheap date!!!!

Sausages and the like are filled out with carbs, so you should treat yourself to a nice bit of fillet steak- thats what I justify myself with if I simply have to eat!!! If I'm going to cheat its got to be good!

    Lolol hubby said that!! Hahaha

    I've had another idea...a norty one...awww.....;)

I MIGHT.....Have a takeaway on Fri night. Then shake for brekkie next day. Then bbq as normal but without going mad. Maybe have a few pear ciders.
The Fri night bit will maybe add a bit to my liver eh so I don't drop dead from having a swig of booze.

Straight back to it the next day...all left overs will be binned or doggy bagged lol.

    Hmmm ideas, ideas xoxox

hi all, hope everyone is having a good saturday and being good:j

day 2 on ss+ for me and dont feel too bad actually, apart from feeling quite tired and with a funny taste in my mouth!

thanks for the info about hot shakes, i'll give that a go, have had the choc mint shakes today and they arent too bad!

neighbours were having a barbeque earlier, and even though its quite warm here, i've had to close all the windows as the smell of sausages is driving me mad!

now off to see bruno at the cinema and hoping that will take my mind off food, as long as i'm not sitting next to a popcorn muncher!
  • Well done cathy and debbie on your first weigh in's. Your losses are fabby :j
  • Good Morning CD'ers :j How are we today? How are our shakes going down? Shame its back to work tommorow eh  Well today is amazingly day 63 for me  Where has the time gone  Thats over two months on CD! So anyways I have jumped on the scales again today :shhh: and another tiny loss. Now I cant wait untill my appointment tommorow :j Still guggling the water and still in ketosis...

We shall do this guys :T
  • Wooo very good!!

That's one of the best things with this diet I think...Fast results. So people tend to stick with it!

Well, I've had a vanilla shake with a spoonfull of coffee in it for breakfast..Lovely!!

Lot's to be done around here today....Especially the garden...I need to supervise hubby hahaha.

    See you later lovelies xoxox

  • Hi folks

    It's day 13 for me and I've lost 12.5 lbs. I'm so pleased. :j
Although I'm not hungry all the time. I crave so much food. I miss bacon cobs, cheese on toast, chips with tons of salt on, lamb curries and all things bad. It's sometimes really hard but it's worth it.

I'm getting bored of the soups. They don't do it for me. But I like something savory in the evening.

Has anyone come out of ketosis with the bars? My counsellor says not to try them for a month just in case.

Just bought a smoothe maker which crushes ice and its wonderful. Makes the shakes cold and thick. I'd really recommend that or a blender.

Good luck to everyone. I don't know about you, but I can't wait to buy a pair of knee length boots that I can fit round my calves and a little black dress!:p

    Helloooo Everyone,

Hope you are all doing well today?

We (boyf and I) hosted a dinner party last night and I didn't eat or drink anything I shouldn't have :A I'm so proud of myself....

So, I've come on today and I'm a little worried as it's my first WI tomorrow (being doing this diet a week now...) and I very much doubt that I'm going to lose more than a few pounds as I get terrible water retention when I'm on..... wish me luck.

Am going to eat a little bit of chicken for dinner tonight, but am CRAVING for some chocolate  might just go to bed instead and chain myself there! ha ha

Good luck everyone and I'll report back tomorrow x

    Hi all,

I haven't been on the MSE board for a while and didn't realise there was a thread for fellow lunatics/CD'ers! I lost around 3.5st on CD last year (needed to lose 6st to get to a BMI of 25) I soon put all that back on unfortunately! Started again a couple of months ago, lost 2st so far and I am hoping to have lost another half stone when I get weighed on Friday (I get weighed fortnightly). Anyway, hope to speak to you all soon and try to help anyone out there who feels like cheating!

    Richard.
  • Cathy ~ Yep fast results but keeping it off in maintance is going to be the hardest. Hope you have enjoyed the sun today in the garden, I have been studying all day :o Have a lovely evening :j

Sandie ~ Hiya, you seem to be doing fabby, 12.5lb is amazing! I cant remember your start weight and stuff do you have much to lose? I didnt like any of the soups and I only tryed a mouthful. I have stuck to shakes 100%. I did come out of ketosis on bars, I had one and it hit me out but I had to keep having them as my CDC was on holiday  I was/am super carb sensitive for you it may not be the case but you have to try them to see what happens. If i could have bars I would  I love my shakes as crushed ice too, the thicker the better as I can use a spoon. I only have 1 a day though as I always feel I need more water to compensate. Keep going and the dress and boots wont take long to reach :T

Bana ~ I wish you luck for tomorow. Dont doubt yourself though thats so bad as I discovered to my cost. As long as you have drunk the 2.5L required you shouldnt have held onto the water. However saying that my last to wi's (due to totm) were awfull. However you know your body and so you may not have lost this week but you will have a super loss next. Just go and if youre CDC asks just say you are due on and that should be fine. I think you will still lose quite a bit though as you have been 100% :D Please report back tomorow ~ Good luck :j

Richard ~ Good luck with your restart, you done it once you can do it again :j Keep popping in form time to time :D
