    Hi Scribes,

I'll take them off your hands at $1.58. Pop me a PM and we can sort out the details.

    Cheers,

    :wave:Hi Neil
Sounds lovely, it's a Bank Holiday on Monday here too :j, but we've had our summer now - it was Thursday 20th to Monday 24th May (last weekend) :D - it got almost up to 90F on Monday! (but has only averaged about 60F since ) and it's forecast to rain over this weekend :(

Have a great weekend, enjoy the sunshine!

    Hi Jackie

I saw it was in the 80's. It was the same here. But I had air con :)
Big weekend here! Off to the Reds (baseball) tonight. Golf in the morning. Golf Sunday and several cold ones. Isn't life just a b@!&h at times!

    Have a good one yourself!

    Cheers

Not sure of whether to change into dollars over here in the uk and take the dollars , take £ cash and change it at a bank or booth in vegas ,take £ and change them in the casino , or use a debit card in the casino. What would be the most effective way to do it ?

You won't get a decent rate at the cages in any of the casinos. They'll take a few cents off the rate against even the high street exchanges here - found that to my cost in the MGM Grand last year. We take dollars every year now and it makes everything much easier.

Also the dollar is strengthening against the pound right now. So of you're travelling soon I'd probably. Buy dollars now given the rate looks like it will get worse. I am though only a student studying economics, financial markets etc. NOT a financial advisor just saying what I would do.

I'm going to Mexico for 2 weeks in 20 days and I've bought my dollars for the trip already. Only $300, I got a rate of 1.51, but was thinking of getting a Fair FX card and put £200 on that also just in case as ML says Natwest cards are evil on holiday.

Dont take sterling to the USA, they dont want it.

Either change into $ before you go, Crown Currenct often best if you dont mind the wait.

Or use nationwide debit card in ATMs
