I've got a lot of dollars left over from my Florida Holiday last year - $3355 where's the best place to exchange them? Any reasonable offer accepted.:) On offer at 1.58?
Hi Scribes,
I'll take them off your hands at $1.58. Pop me a PM and we can sort out the details.
Cheers,

:wave:Hi Neil
Sounds lovely, it's a Bank Holiday on Monday here too :j, but we've had our summer now - it was Thursday 20th to Monday 24th May (last weekend)- it got almost up to 90F on Monday! (but has only averaged about 60F since ) and it's forecast to rain over this weekend
Have a great weekend, enjoy the sunshine!

Not sure of whether to change into dollars over here in the uk and take the dollars , take £ cash and change it at a bank or booth in vegas ,take £ and change them in the casino , or use a debit card in the casino. What would be the most effective way to do it ?0

You won't get a decent rate at the cages in any of the casinos. They'll take a few cents off the rate against even the high street exchanges here - found that to my cost in the MGM Grand last year. We take dollars every year now and it makes everything much easier.Mortgage Free: 28/10/2010Time / Interest Saved: 18.5 years / £61,866.500 -
Also the dollar is strengthening against the pound right now. So of you're travelling soon I'd probably. Buy dollars now given the rate looks like it will get worse. I am though only a student studying economics, financial markets etc. NOT a financial advisor just saying what I would do.
I'm going to Mexico for 2 weeks in 20 days and I've bought my dollars for the trip already. Only $300, I got a rate of 1.51, but was thinking of getting a Fair FX card and put £200 on that also just in case as ML says Natwest cards are evil on holiday.0 -

Dont take sterling to the USA, they dont want it.
Either change into $ before you go, Crown Currenct often best if you dont mind the wait.
Or use nationwide debit card in ATMs0
