I realised I had some money set aside for something else but I'll be getting paid again before I need it so ordered £350 with Crown yesterday - getting just over $500 so at least I don't need to cry as much about not even getting $1000 for £700!

I'm just going to let you believe that, I think! :D

    :A
The rate does suck at the moment. I wish I got the opportunity to move over here 6 months before I did when the $ was over 2.
Where about you coming to in this fair land?

Woohoo! Received my cash from Crown this morning! Ordered it at 1.4881 the day before it dropped rapidly! Can't wait to get over there now! Only 1 week to wait now.

Most of my spends will go on the Zero CC though, only got enough cash for tips and little things!

Nice! Well, apart from LA ;) (I'm starting to like it now... just the traffic sucks, big time)
    Have fun!

I don't drive so that part doesn't bother me too much! I've been there a bunch of times now and I have particular restaurants I want to go to and things I want to do - I had our two days there planned the very minute we decided to go there first! Most of them are around Hollywood Blvd and then I'll get the Metro out to Union Station for the train to San Diego so the only time I should experience the traffic really should be when we land. And I'll be too zonked in the back of the shuttle to notice, probably!

Ooh, I'm so jealous.... got back 3 weeks ago and still having 'post holiday blues', thanks to the ash cloud we got an extra 8 days, but it still wasn't long enough!
