Superb day out!
Problem is now i have to wear the mask / gloves for every game as they are now classed as "lucky"!
So why hasn't the £ rocketed after the UK is "out of recession"?
And I would of thought my glorious leaders "state of union" address last night might of had an effect too?0 -
I think I know the answer to this one, but I'll ask anyway.....
Have booked a holiday to NY leaving late August and am looking to buy around £1,000 worth of USDs. Crown Currency are currently offering a great rate for delivery between April and June, see:
https://www.crowncurrencyexchange.com/content/us-dollars.asp
Do you think I should go for it?0 -
You'll get an even better rate if you call and ask for their Cancelled Contracts rate which is currently $1.7499
https://www.crowncurrencyexchange.com/content/cancelled-currency-contracts.asp
Whether you should go for it is entirely up to you. Your money is at risk if anything happens to CCE. I have used them several times with no problems and the money has always arrived on the date agreed.0 -

LONDON, Jan 29 - Sterling slipped to the day's low against a broadly stronger dollar on Friday after data showed the U.S. economy expanded more than expected in the fourth quarter.
The U.S. economy grew by 5.7 percent in October-December, the quickest pace in more than six years, as businesses reduced inventories less aggressively, the U.S. Commerce Department said on Friday.
Expectations had been for 4.6 percent growth.
Sterling <GBP=D4> fell to the day's low of $1.6084 from around $1.6115 before the data was announced. Please take the time to have a look around my Daughter's website www.daisypalmertrust.co.uk

Neil?
I thought we had a deal?
The rate could stay low until after your trip back to the UK as long as it rocketed afterwards!
What's happening?

I suppose at least it's a bit better than this time last year, although would still prefer it to be at the rate we got 2 years ago!2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07
