What are the maximum amounts per year? And are there any risks involved? Or is it simply an American equivalant?
During 2009 i have probably changed about $10,000. My job takes me frequently to the US and i usually make it so i have time either before or after to make some sort of a holiday out of it.
I expect things to be the same for at least the foreseeable future so am naturally keen to find some way to get the most out of my money - Particularly if the rate drops again.
I have the Fair FX which is superb, but this goes with the rate. I know 1.64 is not great, and it is quiet some way from the hay days of the 2.0+ but its easy to forget the $$ fell from 2.10 to 1.34 in a matter of months. If i could protect myself against that by finding a fund which kept itself buoyant or grew with minimal or no risk that would be fantastic.0 -

I dont use an isa much myself so I cant say the exact details just that would be a rough plan to check on. I think the allowance will be 10k soon or 16k dollars per year
uup is the index fund which means not just related to pounds. I guess the index could be strong and sterling even stronger but generally they are inverse0 -
