    not sure to be honest.
i know amex have higher fees than mastercard / amex.(that's why it aint accepted in many places) so i dare say that's the reason?
See not so smart after all. Amex do not have higher rates. I am charged 2.5% by them, and 2.75% by MC. The reason they are not accepted in as many places is 2 fold. Firstly they don't pay as quickly as MC and Visa. Secondly, their chip system is not compatible with most in store terminals and either you have to have a separate one for them, or have your current terminal re-programmed, at a cost, and that causes problems with loads of stores tills crashing when the re-program doesn't work properly.
Better stick to what you are good at, throwing your toys out of the pram. As we can tell, you are not too hot on predicting currency trends. :rotfl:
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Shine a light. Looks like I've touched a right nerve with you haven't I precious! For someone who hates this thread and the people on here you seem to have some kind of twisted fascination.
Does it bug you that we dare to talk about the rate? And post it sooooooooo often
Does it bug you that when you log on to this website you see this thread on top of the sub board?

Oh, let me reply to your points...
    1. I've never professed to being smart. I'd love to see where I stated that. I'll await the evidence. Oh wait.. here it is... I found some CCTV from my house... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DhrfhjLd9e4
    2. My OH parents used to own a pub. they told me a few years back amex charged a larger % so wouldn't use them. If they / I'm wrong then so be it... I'm sure Keith will hunt me down and gain his revenge
    3. Predicting currency trends... Now you're having a giraffe. Did I write it? No. Did I quote dailyfx as my source? Yes. Are they "experts"? Yes. I look at websites with "experts" predictions and believe what they say. If they're wrong what hope do the rest of us have?

Now you've boosted your ego and belittled me to the point I'm thinking of throwing myself in to the Ohio why not do us all a favour and do one?
