Can I please ask whats with the maestro love in? Whats is it about maestro that people actually like? Less acceptance? Shame mastercard don't issue debit mastercards in the uk.0

I'm happy that they've given me a Visa, my Maestro caused me no end of issues when I went to Mexico. Aviasca wouldnt let me buy my internal flight ticket online with my Maestro and for some reason it also rejected my HSBC Mastercard. Sorted it in the end but it sure was a hassle compared to if HSBC had just given me a Visa.
