Well I cremated the chicken but we have lovely crispy pork.

Have tried the rewarding her and withholding pocket money and she already thinks I favour DS so taking him out or treating him will only anger her more  . Explaining about the dog was met with a "so" but then the dog did bite her a few days ago when she wouldnt leave her alone.

lilysue & glamazon  at the ST stories and OMG I've got that to go through yet as well with her. LS the fire places we were lucky with as they are original although the white marble one downstairs DD drew a circle on it in orange felt pen when she was 3 (and its still there as I cant get it off). Are you far from Norwich?

    WTG viv you're doing great.

I've managed to hang a load of washing out now
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Kaz, your daughter sounds like mine was. Generally I never could see her floor and it only improved when she got a friend of the opp sex. .....................

No its not what all of you are thinking. He was gay and used to spend time clearing up her mess and reorganising her room so that it looked a lot better

Well I found a used condom behind DS1's monitor.. slurped it right the vacuum and watched it whizzing round in the cylinder... it was a self service condom not a girly one..

DD1's friend left a used ST on the shelf in my toilet one time... we had words..

My room was always a sty as I was too busy cleaning the rest of the house and looking after my sisters and studying to do anything else.

I have had a nice chat on the phone with DS1..
Cleaned most of thhe kitchen so it is almosy hygienic.. just don't look at my non-slip floor!!

AND... got a mug of epic proportions pairing socks.. I hate that job.. I've not done it since July.. :p

Kaz - when I was a child my bedroom was worse than that :o

My DD1 is nearly 13, and I told her recently that I wasn't going to put her clothes away, and clothes had to be in her own wash basket before they were washed. I don't even bother to look at her room any more. I can't bear the sight of it.

Window cleaning needed to get me some more stars - the outsides were all done by the window cleaner on Friday, will work my way round the inside as soon as the football is finished  i really don't like cleaning windows but needs doing i suppose!

It's too hot here today - very glad i went to the allotment when i woke up at 5:30 as it would've been too warm to get any real work done if i'd gone down any later, also meant pup could have a run around before the heat started as she's no fan at all - need to pop back this evening to water everything again. I keep forgetting to water the boarders/pots/hanging baskets in the garden, so must remember to do that this evening or my mum will lynch me when they get back!

Need to decide on something for dinner - i've got some chicken marinading in the fridge or i've made some lamb kofta's, decisions decisions! Whichever way i go i'll have it with a salad including lettuce, beetroot leaves, rocket and radishes from the allotment :D

Hope everyone is well - big hugs to Toots and :hello:to all the newbies!

Lovely day here, so the washing is out.

Why do some people think "oh it's a lovely day - let's burn stuff?"

We've finished for the day here :). It's slightly annoying as most of what has been done can't be seen but it does look even better than usual. So far the lounge and bathroom are 100% done, the hallway/landing is hoovered and everything tidied away and the the bedroom and kitchen and hallway/landing floors will be done tomorrow. I've also got the wm on with load 3 and have done some handwashing.

My feet are tired now! Combination of the walk yesterday and being on my feet all day today.

greenbee - don't worry, we're going to the pub later and are going to go the long way round and walk for a good half hour. We have no garden here and spent too long in the hot sun yesterday really.
