Thanks penguin and SH, debt is down to £7000 now so will hopefully be gone in 7 months!!!
I will be 30 this month, my origional goal was to be debt free by 30 but I dont feel too bad about missing the target as we hadnt included buying the house. Cant believe how much has changed in the almost 3 years I have been here.
I think this will be a very long and difficult month, the baby I lost was due this month and I seem to see pregnant women everywhere. I just remind myself how lucky I am to have my lovely DS.
Still plodding on with the weight loss;

I am finding it so easy to loose weight the slow way. I have told nobody apart from OH about it, when we go out I eat as I normally would. I honestly can say I have not denied myself anything I wanted. I will never be skinny but hopefuly I will be a healthy weight. Its just nice not to be on a diet as nobody is observing every mouthful I eas as they tend to do when you say you are dieting.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0 -
hi lunar - it sounds like you are doing really well both with coping with everything that has gone on and your weight loss. I agree with you if you ever mention the word dieting people feel they have the right to make quite personal comments on what you are eating and can be unknowingly offensive!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thank you SH and elfen, I have decided that when I hit 29.99 BMI I will have a shopping trip for new clothes. That will mean I would be in the orange section on the BMI charts rather than in the red zone! Hopefuly I can make that goal by the january sales. Untill then I will manage with what I have got. Of course i am really hoping to get pregnant before then, If nothing happens by january we will be going back to the hospital for IVF. That will mean we need to find 3-5k for one attempt. maybe that DFD is further away than I thought.DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0

The weight loss is brilliant - slowly but surely is definitely the way to go and far healthier than most "diets".
June was long for me, as my 20th Wedding anniversary was yesterday, so all through the month I was "dreading" the last day.....but when it arrived, I got through it - and you will get through July. These times are just a reminder of the fact that you care and are a loving mum. I am sure your time will come again for another baby, and all the time between now and then, you are becoming fitter and healthier, which will be good for all of you.

Hi Lunar. Ihope you are okay. I remember the date my baby was due ex oh had arranged to come home and we were going out for dinner and drinks. When he got home I had drunk a half bottle of vodka and could hardly bite my finger I was so drunk. I hardly ever drink so this was well out of character fro me and I had no other children to think of at the time. I hope everything falls into place baby wise for you as it appears to have done with the rest of your life. Take care xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Thanks so much for the supportive messages every one the really mean alot. Im glad yesterday is behind me, it was tough but luckly I have DS to keep me smiling. Im looking forward now and am keeping my fingers crossed that I will get pregnant again soon.
The debt is down to £6000 which is brilliant, but why does it feel like the last stretch is the longest?! We have booked a week away in november for the 3 of us, we are going to centre parks. Not sure how much spending money we will need as we have not been before.
I have been saving a fortune on the shopping bill recently, harvesting lots of fruit and veg from the garden, actually using my breadmaker and cooking from scratch every day. My shopping bill has been under £20 a week and we seem to be eating really well. Ive got a gamon joint in the slowcooker today, I got it for £3 and it will be enough for tea tonight with chips made from home grown potatoes, green veg from the garden and a poached egg each. There will be lots of meat left over for the weekend. I think todays tea will cost about £2.00! It's such a long way from when I was spending £200 plus takeaways every month at the start of this journey. The mad thing is that we eat much better now than we did back then!DFW NERD NO.656 DEBT FREE 24TH NOVEMBER 2010 TOTAL DEBT AUGUST 2007 £39000MFiT T2 NO.56 WE OWN [STRIKE]25%[/STRIKE] 31.5% OF OUR HOUSE SO FAR!0
