Hmm. I don't want to leave the Facebook page unlocked because my former stalker is a friend of a friend and might come looking and then get in contact.

    These should be direct links:

I can cope with day to day stuff like bills, food, loan payments etc. The things I hate are stuff like car insurance (both due today - total was £584.00) and servicing of cars etc. I really resent them because it such a huge amount all at once. Couldnt survive without the cars so just have to live with it but that doesnt mean I cant resent paying it anyway!

I joined Costco at the weekend and I blame Sami for it!! I didnt realise that as a Solicitor I could join. Its about the only benefit I have for being a Solicitor that I can see!! I spent £50.00 on food when I went there to look at baby things so throwing money away on junk food will certainly have to stop after baby is here. I think I will also have to cancel xmas this year - I will have given people a niece, grandaughter, cousin etc and there is no better present I could give so they will all have to be satisfied with that xx
    oops! sorry Mooki :D
I no longer get people Christmas presents like I did before, if they are good friends/family they'll understand.
We spend about £20 per parent and then get a gift from Chris or from this year on it'll be "the boys" (:T) usually something I've made or had made, so last year was a bauble with a photo from our wedding on one side and a photo of Chris dressed as a reindeer on the other :D year before was a photo calendar. we try to keep our family present spend to £100 but a max of £120 which for the last 2yrs has been successful :j also I think too many people go a bit mad at Christmas I know one of my friends spent about £200 on her son who's the same age as Chris  we spent £50ish I figure he's got every thing he NEEDS and more so why spend more? I'll have enough of that when he's asking for £300 xbox consoles when he's older!

  • Sami - agree ppl go too mad and many can't afford to. can't think it helps kids get the right priorities in life either.

SS it's a great bump, v defined! Mine is 25 but have sneaky suspicion I'll just gradually increase in size like inflating a barrage balloon rather than getting a nice bump!

    searching - you about?
Do you know if you would get any more WTC if ur OH was to get a job that didn't earn much like a paper round? I know its not fancy but my mum's next door neighbour did a paper round for a bit because it meant she was entitled to more benefits than if she wasn't working/earning at all.

I used to spend about £150.00 on my mum and the only reason for that is because she doesnt spend less than £500.00 on each of us so I would feel really bad giving her something small. She did say every year that I really shouldnt have spent so much on her but I when we had so much to unwrap, I didnt like her only having one or two things. I wouldnt spend less than £50.00 on other family member too and quite frankly christmas financially crippled us every year. I just love giving presents so I would go over the top!!

This year will be different though and my mum and dad will get a professional framed photo of their favourite (and only) grand daughter and that is probably all. They will probably appreciate that more than any other expensive tat I have bought them over the years xx
