ladies, i need some help please.

I have developed a load of funny water blister type of things on my right hand. They are smallish, about the size of a pin head and itch like crazy. Where I have scratched they have popped and have little scabs on. Now I have one twice the size appeared in the middle of my palm in the last half hour. Rang the doctor but they won't call me back until tomorrow. (Sorry that is a bit gross for dinner time)

I doubt it is pregnancy related but has anyone else had the same thing and does anyone know what I can put on it to stop the infernal itching (savlon isn't working)

http://www.runningskirts.com/PregnancyFitness.html Know I mentioned running this morning, and found this site today with this ladies pics and developments, wow they look amazing with huge bumps...Jennynoo - We booked early as its on the way to my work, luckily my mum works there as well, so she is having baby one day too and hubby the other, I'm going back 4 days in Feb so only a while of work, rubbish but my mat pay is poop... I feel terrible, also wear a lot of dresses, and bought a preg band at the weekend for exercise, can you feel your baby sure I've had twinges x

Sorry to be nosey, but are you a runner ?

I'm only asking 'Cos I could do with some advise - I'm not a great runner, more of a gentle jogger really (or I was until I started this IVF cycle).
Anyway I keep reading conflicting advise on whether or not its OK to start running again now I'm PG.

If possible I'd love to be able to carry on,if nothing else it'll help keep my weight down - I had gestational diabetes with DS and not putting on too much weight on this time should keep the risk down.

Any hints or tips would be great.

Just been reading all the birth stories over the last week. Here are my take home notes :o
Mrs Tine - very reassuring advice about having an epidural.
Greent - Have you posted the full story yet? My sisters waters broke early as well and she ended up induced.
    Ticklepenny - No story yet?
Elle_gee - what an amazing birth story - I hope everything is improving still.
Sugarspunsister - Another amazing story, there seem to be too many stories about midwifes not believing the stage women are at which is quite worrying.
Angela 6834 - I think your baby must be a genius to have knotted the cord!

Thanks for all the stories and lovely pictures. :T

Oh yeah, and who was it that had the blood of 6.5 and was let home ???
After Jasmine, I hemoragged pretty badly (hence the planned section this time) and went to 6.1 :eek::eek: Apparently they do not let anyone with levels below 7.5 leave hospital without at least 1 transfusion, but my bleeding wouldnt stop so I had 4

That was me! To be fair they did keep me in hospital for 10 days after I had her, which is pretty unusual after a vaginal delivery, and the community midwife came every day until day 28, when she had to discharge me.

For those who wondered how I was able to stand upright, the short answer was I couldn't really! I went to the doctors several times because I was so exhausted that I could barely lift my head off the pillow, and their stock answer was: "You've had 2 children in 13 months, both breastfed, would you not expect to be tired"

I am glad I've checked what the real levels should be. Though I did understand at the time that they were lower than they should be, I didn't really appreciate how low they were, or that that would have been the cause of feeling so rubbish!
