lol i wish i had but i was so upset but trying to hide it. I Won't be having another one this time around no way. Mw said that they will either do a planned section before due date or let me go to term then if not had bubs section a few days later. because had EMCS last time due to fetal distress. How early do they do them? I don't want to be in hospital for xmas day.

I will find out on Thursday what date I am being taken in, but it seems to vary on the hospital from 38 +4 to 40 weeks but most are 39 +2 give or take a day unless they think you are going to go early

Whoever had that frog suit link owes me 16 quid, because I had to buy it for the Bellyfrog. And then I had to buy two little pairs of jeans and a Santa suit.

I still need to buy a sunhat, too.

I hope they do it around 38wks then. they wouldn't want me in xmas day either really would they not if they didn't have to. i stayed 5 days last time but prob cos it was an EMCS i guess if it is planned you can recover quicker as they haven't had to rush it and can do it a bit neater too!

Well, that's just charming. I just had to cancel my travel system order through Kiddicare. We ordered it in mid-April, with a shipping date of 30 April. Then the shipping date got moved to 20 May (without any notice to us), when it STILL didn't show up, I called them and after a long (and rather annoying) conversation, was told that their buyer had spoken to Graco and they would be getting in a shipment Friday and it would be with us either Monday or Tuesday at latest. So this morning, I called Kiddicare to verify that it would be delivered today and was told "oh yes, it left kiddicare yesterday and will be delivered today." Great, I thought. WRONG!!!! By 4:20pm it still hadn't showed, so we called Kiddicare once again and was told the shipping date had AGAIN been moved back - this time not until after 10 June!! And AGAIN with no warning from Kiddicare at all!! I explained that one of their reps had said on the phone this morning that it had been shipped and was supposed to be delivered today, so obviously I was confused. And she told me "Sorry, but the computer system shows that nobody has accessed your account since last week!" So, the girl I spoke to this morning out hadn't even looked at my account!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR  So.... we cancelled the order. Now we have to wait 3 to 12 days for the money to go back into our account before we can order another travel system from somewhere else. I am beyond angry! That's it. Kiddicare has completely lost my business - we will not be shopping there again ever. I can't believe all this hassle - AND I stayed home 3 times all day waiting for a delivery that never came, as they don't bother to advise you if the shipping dates change! I will definitely be filling out a complaint to them.

Please beware if you buy from Kiddicare - the woman I spoke to said it's their policy that if shipping dates change, they do not advise the buyer. They expect you to call if it doesn't show up and find out that way. What a rotten way to deal with customers.

Hmm. I'm having some issues with Kiddicare right now. We ordered our travel system off them at the baby Show, and they were supposed to deliver by Friday just gone. I called on Friday and was told the paperwork hadn;t even gone to the warehouse and they didn;t have the chassis in stock yet. I was told to call tomorrow to arrange delivery as the chassis was due in today.

In the meantime, I went on their website to discover that they are now having a 5 per cent sale, but even with that discount it would have been cheaper online at the time of the baby show!

IT is now £480 and we paid £530!!

I'm not sure what to do. If I had paid for it I'd cancel the order, then reorder it (although would now worry about delivery) but my dad paid for it on his card so I'm not sure what to do.

    Any thoughts ladies?

ladies, i need some help please.

I have developed a load of funny water blister type of things on my right hand. They are smallish, about the size of a pin head and itch like crazy. Where I have scratched they have popped and have little scabs on. Now I have one twice the size appeared in the middle of my palm in the last half hour. Rang the doctor but they won't call me back until tomorrow. (Sorry that is a bit gross for dinner time)

I doubt it is pregnancy related but has anyone else had the same thing and does anyone know what I can put on it to stop the infernal itching (savlon isn't working)

    Harley,

I used to get this (seems to have stopped whislt pg though) and it's a type of excema. The doc just gave me the same cream i had for normal red rash type excema, which i was told was safe to use during pregnancy but as always it's best to get checked by the docs

I was in 6 days with DD after EMCS but that was more to do with transfusions than the section, I have been told to expect 2 - 3 days this time if all goes well

Ooh I forgot - congratulations Angela!!

ANd talking of sunhats - is there any suncream suitable for under 3 months? Bubba will be max 8 weeks old when we go to Italy and I will need cream but all I can find is not suitable for a baby so young.
