I am a month ahead of you and filling out my maternity jeans nicely. I can recommend the Mamas and Papas under bump jeans in a size 8. Think my legs will outgrow them before bump does and they are so comfy.
A word of warning though, you really need to be in to take the delivery as you can't easily arrange for the parcel to be left with a neighbour or delivered to a different address. However, a nicely worded post-it note stuck to the front door gained me a lot more co-operation from the delivery driver than I got from their 'Customer Service' advisor.
They had a sale on a couple of weeks ago and the jeans were down from £45 to £10:j

Thanks a trip to m&p will have to be arranged soon. I could order on line as I just get everything delivered to work but I really prefer to try on in a shop so I don't have the hassle of sending back if anything is wrong.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Congratulations Angela, and well done to your lo getting home so early!
I'm 40th on that list!
Day care tomorrow at 3.10pm (won't manage to post till after 7pm so don't worry if you don't see me Sami )
My maternity jeans have shrunk. They are tight and uncomfortable. Tried on the next 2 sizes up and they are the same so I decided it's just the cut and where they sit. Bump has just suddenly got huge! I can see it past my boobs when I look down now!
Sami, was it a Thrombophillia test? To check for 'sticky blood'? Get my results back tomorrow, I was borderline last test so we will see.
Any news of Rhys?0 -
Hi Ladies,
Not posted in weeks as been busy getting everything sorted around the house for baby's arrival, popped on to catch up and I think I've missed 2 whole threads!
congrats to all those who have given birth and got BFP's and labour/sticky vibes to all who need them!
can't believe that i'm 6th on the list...how did that happen! have really had to slow down the last week as bp is getting higher and i've got swelling in my hands and feet, pelvic pain and carpel tunnel....basically I think my body has had enough now and it's about time bubs made an entrance.
i've eaten a whole pineapple today (which resulted in heartburn!) and have been gulping the raspberry leaf tea so i'm hopeful that things will happen soon. other than a hot curry and a bit of how's your father anyone else got any tips for speeding things along? bubs is currently 3/5ths.0 -
Why is it that as soon as I don't log in for a few days so much happens?! I seem to have missed over 100 pages of posts so there's no way I can catch up but congrats to all those who have had their babies and thinking of you in particular Elle given all you've gone through.
I have spent the last week in hospital because of more bleeding but baby is hanging in there so trying to remain positive. Although its a horrible way to spend your pregnancy I have been so impressed by how good all the medical staff have been - you hear so many stories about how bad the NHS is and I don't know if I've just been lucky but my experience has been very positive.
Anyway, I was discharged yesterday night just at the end of the bank holiday and in time to come back to work today:-(
I am now feeling baby moving which is really odd but lovely as well and very reassuring.
I'm off to try and catch up on at least some of the recent posts.
Hope everyone is keeping well.

I've got bump the Asda Frog outfit too
Candice thanks for sweep info!!
I'm thinking if I get to that point it won't be any worse than what I've already had, I mean they don't find out you're 8cms dilated by just taking a peek :P0 -
ladies, i need some help please.
I have developed a load of funny water blister type of things on my right hand. They are smallish, about the size of a pin head and itch like crazy. Where I have scratched they have popped and have little scabs on. Now I have one twice the size appeared in the middle of my palm in the last half hour. Rang the doctor but they won't call me back until tomorrow. (Sorry that is a bit gross for dinner time)
I doubt it is pregnancy related but has anyone else had the same thing and does anyone know what I can put on it to stop the infernal itching (savlon isn't working)

I feel terrible, also wear a lot of dresses, and bought a preg band at the weekend for exercise, can you feel your baby sure I've had twinges x
I love the bump pics on that siteJust bought some yoga pants from Victorias Secret (XS) which have a really stretchy top part so they should do me for a while for exercise. Just need a long T-shirt now so I'm not always showing my midriff.
I think I've had a bit of movement but not really sure. Feel like I'm bonding thoughMum to DD born Oct 2009
