I have already booked my sweep for my due date (19th June) as my MW only works on Fridays. Hope to have beanie by then though. I have never even had a smear so my bits have only ever been seen by a few very priveleged people and certainly not that intimately. Just going to have to get used to the fact that with pregnancy comes loss of dignity and my bits become public property!

Sending you lots of labour vibes Candice x

Can anyone confirm ... I'm pretty sure they can only give you a sweep if you are already starting to dilate??

    OMG!!!! im 8th!!!! x

I have no idea how I managed to work my way up that list to 10th. My original EDD was 12th June and we have decided that we would like beanie to still come on 12th June at about 8am (so I can go home the same day). What do you think the chances are of that happening then??!!! Do not dispell my first time naivety/ignorant bliss especially as I am still also planning on a push, push pop labour.

If you've had a previous babe tehn your cervix won't be fully closed anyway, so they stand a good chance.

Keep popping on to search for news of Krystal and Candice - nothing yet!!

Will come back and post BS at some point -baby is called Sam Mackenzie Green and is now 5lb 6oz (lighter than Ickle's twins!! - he's in premmie clothes & nappies!) - but frantic with half term & 4 children here!!

When I had my sweep last time MW said it would only work if my cervix was ready, can't remember her exact wording, sorry.

thx Sami...it was getting pretty cluttered. Not that I want to be a b*tch, but people who only post on here once to tell their due date & then never come back aren't really in the spirit of the thread, are they?

Well done Greent, I love the name Sam. X

My cervix is not fully closed and MW on Saturday said she wouldn't expect it to be.
