Hello ladies and bumps :hello:
Well I have had quite a busy day, drove to the big baby shop in the next town to change may mattress from a cot one to the cot bed one, went to Asda to do the shopping and picked up the cutest little outfit for the baby but I can't find it on the george website, this is the frog one, but I got the black and white panda one:D
http://direct.asda.com/george/baby-clothes/boys/frog-sleepsuit-and-hat/GEM10211,default,pd.html
and this t-shirt for Jasmine:D
http://direct.asda.com/george/baby-clothes/girls/i-love-my-daddy-t-shirt/GEM12040,default,pd.html
Then we went shopping for a present for Jasmine from the baby and got her a care bear as she is mad about them at the minute and a new DVD, so I have promised her the Hannah Montana film soundtrack, so after I have that got, thats her finished !!
I then went a wee dander on my own and got OH a wall plack saying no matter how tall I grow, I will always look up to my daddy and a Super Dad t-shirt for fathers day as I dont think I will be able t go and get anything after the baby is born, so I will wrap them and have it in the house, just need to buy a card
Oh yeah, and who was it that had the blood of 6.5 and was let home ???
After Jasmine, I hemoragged pretty badly (hence the planned section this time) and went to 6.1 :eek::eek: Apparently they do not let anyone with levels below 7.5 leave hospital without at least 1 transfusion, but my bleeding wouldnt stop so I had 4
Even after 4 of them I was still at 9.2 and was on iron for 6 months (can you image my toilet routine after 15 months on iron) I am at 11 at the minute and they are not happy, but am on double iron a day and it isnt going up, they want me at at least 13 before I get my section, so OH is filling me full of red meat and brocolli
Right, that was a longer post than I expected (sorry:o)The two best things I have done with my life

Me too sure my colleague can see the tab at bottom of screen, ha ha.. hey noticed your one day ahead of me, exciting stuff how you feeling/looking? I dont think I'm that big (my sister laughs at me all the time) but I do wear smocky stuff always do and still wearing my size 8/10 stuff with help of elastic band on jeans when required ha ha
Hey Nancmat, nice to meet someone due same time as me. I feel huge but no one is noticing. I used to have a flat stomach with hip bones sticking out but now my bump is already bigger than my boobs. I can still wear some of my size 8 trousers but only half done up - finding dresses much more comfortable. I tried some maternity trousers when in the US but they were all too big! That probably wont last much longer.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Yay - my burfday is 9th June so come early little one!!
Do we think a pregnant woman is the best person to be giving advice about contraception? :rotfl:
Been giving these cervical cancer injections today and I said I'd do all the BP's and contraceptive questions - the look on their faces is a picture!Think I know where u mean Glam
Bag packing would be helpful! I'll do it tonight I promise! - I washed my nightie and dressing gown this weekend so I have no excuse not to put everything together now.
I think best thing to do is tell OH that he must do DIY for x number of hours each day and that he has to do that before any xbox etc I know once OH gets on the xbox he's a lost cause
It's the one off the roundabout
Hey OH just rang to say when I get home could we take all the pics for eBay so we could at least dismantle stuff ready for packing!! Girls it worked.
He's actually been busy with work so I don't mind - he's a Playstation guy thou :rolleyes:a sweep and a s**g got me going lol had sweep at 3pm and baby at 7pm:D
PMSL :rotfl:
Remind me to tell OH this nearer the time - he'll be offering to do the sweep himself!!
Know I've asked this before - when should we start perineum massage?A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Ohh I already have mine booked in nursery for February had to book quickly £310 a month for 2 days one week and 2.5 days other week, you can never be too early we need to pay a months deposit as well
Oh my goodness! Right, just added 'look at nurseries' to my list of things to do this week. I have a London friend who told me the nurseries near her were £1000 a month . Also need to do budget etc so I can work out best options for how long to take off and how many days to work when I return.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

My original EDD was 12th June and we have decided that we would like beanie to still come on 12th June at about 8am (so I can go home the same day). What do you think the chances are of that happening then??!!! Do not dispell my first time naivety/ignorant bliss especially as I am still also planning on a push, push pop labour.
i would love bubs to come out when i say :rotfl: ... i would also love the push push pop but if he carries on kicking hes gonna make himself come through the sunroof :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:xStill searching .....:)

Well, that's just charming. I just had to cancel my travel system order through Kiddicare. We ordered it in mid-April, with a shipping date of 30 April. Then the shipping date got moved to 20 May (without any notice to us), when it STILL didn't show up, I called them and after a long (and rather annoying) conversation, was told that their buyer had spoken to Graco and they would be getting in a shipment Friday and it would be with us either Monday or Tuesday at latest. So this morning, I called Kiddicare to verify that it would be delivered today and was told "oh yes, it left kiddicare yesterday and will be delivered today." Great, I thought. WRONG!!!! By 4:20pm it still hadn't showed, so we called Kiddicare once again and was told the shipping date had AGAIN been moved back - this time not until after 10 June!! And AGAIN with no warning from Kiddicare at all!! I explained that one of their reps had said on the phone this morning that it had been shipped and was supposed to be delivered today, so obviously I was confused. And she told me "Sorry, but the computer system shows that nobody has accessed your account since last week!" So, the girl I spoke to this morning out hadn't even looked at my account!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR  So.... we cancelled the order. Now we have to wait 3 to 12 days for the money to go back into our account before we can order another travel system from somewhere else. I am beyond angry! That's it. Kiddicare has completely lost my business - we will not be shopping there again ever. I can't believe all this hassle - AND I stayed home 3 times all day waiting for a delivery that never came, as they don't bother to advise you if the shipping dates change! I will definitely be filling out a complaint to them.
Please beware if you buy from Kiddicare - the woman I spoke to said it's their policy that if shipping dates change, they do not advise the buyer. They expect you to call if it doesn't show up and find out that way. What a rotten way to deal with customers.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -

I am a month ahead of you and filling out my maternity jeans nicely. I can recommend the Mamas and Papas under bump jeans in a size 8. Think my legs will outgrow them before bump does and they are so comfy.
A word of warning though, you really need to be in to take the delivery as you can't easily arrange for the parcel to be left with a neighbour or delivered to a different address. However, a nicely worded post-it note stuck to the front door gained me a lot more co-operation from the delivery driver than I got from their 'Customer Service' advisor.
They had a sale on a couple of weeks ago and the jeans were down from £45 to £10:j

Jenny, nice to see you back, how did you cope with the looooong flights? Did you wear flight socks? I fly to Orlando tommorow morning and have got some.
I didn't get any flight socks in my seat - crappy Delta (BA provided them last time I flew to Orlando). The advice I got from my midwife was to drink one glass of water an hour and to move legs as much as possible. I did that on the way out but slept a lot on the way back so didn't drink as much. Either way I was fine. I usually get advised to stay away as late as possible when I get there to help adjust to the time zone but this time I slept for four hours as soon as I arrived then got up for dinner and went to bed at the normal US time. I didn't sleep brilliantly but I was the only person that week who didn't have jet lag - not sure if it is something to do with pregnancy or just an amazing ability to sleep lots!
Hope you enjoy your holiday.Mum to DD born Oct 2009
