Just a helpful tip that Kingdom of Heaven and Batman Begins DVDs SELs have changed to £6.73 - and they also scan at that price not the £7.99 that is stickered on the DVDs.

When the offer leaflets for the V171 were wrong I paid for one had the R&R and then they were out of stock - so the cs refunded the amount again.
Also the sign for R&R is usually on shelving by the phones, cameras and satnavs so I would have thought it should always apply.
Out of date sel is a tricky one, because its their mistake they should honour the R&R but as said before unless its really worth it probably a lot of hassle.
I'm resting from R&R for a while and stocking up on points from home deliver promos.

i brought a bag of rice in the bedford store..was on BOGOF but they charged me twice. So i returned the rice to CS and they refunded me 12.99. If im right - shouldn't they have refunded me 12.99 TWICE and let me keep it?

I went to the Bidston, Birkenhead store yesterday, stood behind a woman who was trying to get a refund for some overpriced Piz Burn that she had bought. The CS was arguing that the price had only just changed blah blah... it turned out that the customer had bought 3 lots of the product over a period of a week & wanted a refund on all of it as " she had only just noticed that she was being overcharged "
The Store Manager became involved, he offered a R&R on 1 item & a difference refund on all of the other items, " because some people spot the difference & then try & take Tescos for a ride " Didn't find out what happened 'cos I was there to get R&R on BOGOF Young's Lemon & Pepper fish, guess what??? I was too busy listening to the arguement that I didn't check my R&R, got outside & the CS had only refunded me the BOGOF price, not full refund.
I didn't want to get tangled up with the Store Manager, so I have left it.
    BTW - Nokia 6320i & Dyson DC07 were labelled @ the higher price :(
BOGOF offer on 25 pack of DVD-R expired yesterday, worth a look ;)

the lower price promo if you buy chart dvd cd or computer games.
refused a r&r as GBA is a CONSOLE game not a computer game.
May still be worth a try with an inexperienced CSA

regarding items with a SEL including an out of date "offer ends...." label, i would think it wise not to try for R & R on these things unless you were actually really, really wanting them anyway. You may find yourself lumbered with things like phones, as, I think their refund policy is different for phones. (anyone know for sure?). Would not like to think anyone got stuck with something so expensive, could prove a mini financial disaster. i couldn't afford to get stuck with one so will stick to my dead certs (coke & steak!!! etc.)

I picked up several sirloin steaks last weekend after noticing they had a lower price per kg on the SEL - what I hadn't picked up on at that point was that because the SEL was yellow it meant that it was a time-restrictive offer.

The offer had expired a week before, but lovely CS complimented me on my free meat and for drawing her attention to the fact that the SEL had been wrong for a week.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Hi Guys, haven't visited this thread for a while, just finished the last of the Birds Eye roast beef out of my freezer! Anyway, I'm at work, so haven't got time to go all the way back to find the post about the Coke and the steak, could someone fill me in - thanks.

Strange, I bought two PSP games (Lemmings and Midway Classics) and Harry Potter DVD yesterday and got the £5 off automatically at the till.. you should have had the £5 taken off so I'd query this!

The phone policy......It is the same as any other product (apart from underwear). You can bring the product back within 28 days of the sale, as long as it is in its original "sold as" format and you have your proof of purchase. The tricky part with phones is that you cannot open the box and break the seal and then quote the above policy (there are some horrendous scams with phones). But if you had gone out to get an R+R and were for some reason refused, you wouldn't be opening the box anyway so there should be no problem with the refund within 28 days.

The policy is on the same big blue board with the R+R policy on it behind the CSD.
