Tesco Misprices Discussion area part 5

Shopping in Wellingborough, Northants store last night.
Saw the Wallace & Grommit 'Curse of the Were-Rabbit' DVD in 2 areas with different SELs on. One at £14.76, the other at £13-something. Popped one in my basket.
Before hitting the check-out went back to the DVDs to double check them and ... Shock! Horror! the cheaper SEL had been removed. I'd missed out, so reluctantly put the W&G DVD back on the shelf.
Would CS have honoured and R&R for me on the basis that someone else had just beaten me to it by 5 minutes and the proof of the SEL was no longer there?

I was in Tesco's (Reading) yesterday and I saw that there are now two versions of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code. The new one has a pic of the Mona Lisa's face on the front (presumably to coincide with the film).

Anyway, the new version has a SEL of £3.73 and scans at £3.73 but the book chart poster states £3.21 for 'The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown'. Went to get an R&R but CS stood their ground stating the chart price only applied to old version. Couldn't be bothered with arguing (plus I've read it already), so I let them win and just got a refund :rolleyes: .

Someone else may have better luck in their store !

hi just to inform all got my money back did not get much of a apologe. went down the road to another tesco extra store got two tamisso coffe machines sel said 79.95 went through the till at 99.99.
got a full refund without any hassel. at lest i can say i got my compansation from them. thanks for all the posts of help. welche2

PS2 was fron Pontpool, South Wales,
Wallace Gromit from Treforest, Sout Wales,
King Kong, Llantrisant, South Wales.

tesco in midsomer norton , has tesco cheese burgers plus others , 2 packs for £3.00 , but go through at 1.98 each on till, just a cheapy for sat night if your going to get your other goodies , andy

may seem dumb, but where are the ps2's in the store? I never ever see them anywhere, nor xboxes or anything like that? Would be handy to know...
