Could a moderator please go through the 'misprice only' thread and delete all the posts which are just general chit chat please?

I do go through it as often as I can to keep it just for misprices only. I actually thought it was pretty up to date on taking out the non misprice posts though - unless I've missed some.

Could anyone tell me how the mis-price on the Finest cheese works? I have spotted the Finest extra mature red leicester SEL £8.48/kg and pack price £8.49/kg, but how would I claim this to CS? I am new to this R&R thing, thanks!

You tell them, the price per Kg on the item is higher than the SEL and that therefore you have been overcharged.

Or you point it out to a member of staff so they can correct the error.

ive just done my on line shop at tesco.com and under big bars of chocolate they are listing the price of some of the cadburys chocolate bars as 0.79 and the special offer price is 2 for £2.25. Therefore you can only buy one at the 0.79 price if you get my meaning because if you try to buy two then you will fall under the 2 for £2.25 special offer. It must be a mistake but worth grabbing a cheap bar of chocolate.

Not a misprice but just pricing that doesn't make any sense: Yesterday in my local Tesco, I saw a 2lt bottle of their own brand orange squash for £1.06 and a 1lt bottle for 52p. How can a 2lt bottle be more expensive than 2 x 1lt bottles when surely it costs less in packaging and manufacturing? So, the choice is yours: do you save money (albeit only 2p) or save the environment (unless,of course, you have plastics recycling in your area)? I was wondering if this happens often or if it is a one-off. It just doesn't make sense.....

It does happen from time to time...I suspect the price of the 1 litre has dropped to match the equivelent item in one of the competitors and the 2 litre has not followed. It always used to be much cheaper to buy the small jar of Colmans English mustard than it was to buy the large. Probably on a price comparison list somewhere ;)
