My last 2 RnR givers required that I leave my name and address....but for £35 a go....they can have my address every day.....and unless you pay on a credit card, then who knows what your name is!!...although they could trace you from your "points card" if they were that way inclined.0 -

That does not happen. Stores do not have access to any CC information. CC will not supply such personal details to any third party....I tried once, got nowhere (it was to do with cash back, not a refund).
I think you will find that the reason for taking addresses is to try and keep the CS staff honest - not just refund phantom items. The three other retailers I have worked for all had the same requirement, particulary on larger sums.Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -
am I the only person whose tesco has the correct prices coming up?
I wrote down some of these and checked them in my store but no luck, they were all correctly marked!0 -

Erm, I don't know 'how' to send a PM as yet, can't find the place for it????
(Neither can I find how to take off my signature either, as I thought it was nice listed as 'Group Hug', but when u put the cursor over it, its called '3some' making me out to be a right Perv! Any ideas anyone?)0 -

Two points:
1) As spa2k says, the price on the computer is the price you would have paid anyway. However, what about when an item reduced for clearance, (like the bread or ready meals), scans at the original price because the barcode was not covered up properly? It's happeed to me twice in the last few weeks. If peope didn't notice the discount, they would have been charged at a price which WAS higher than Tesco intended to charge, unlike most misprices where the price you are charged is what you should have paid anyway. That difference is profit in the pocket of Tesco.
2) When you get an R&R on a valuable electrical item, the latest trend is to try and worm their way out of the warranty. Point out that one's statutory rights are unaffected by the policy, and you get it, but how many people will have simply said 'OK', and when somehting goes wrong, Tesco have been spared the admiistration cost of sending it back? Then again, knowing Tesco, they probably just bill the company...0 -

With Tesco.com orders, multisavers and such aren't taken off until it is delivered by the driverTitch0
