Bucket round up for this week done.
    • W/b 6th July 45 out of target of 66 activities 4/10 for effort.
    • W/b 13th July 61 out of target of 66 activities 7/10 for effort.
    • W/b 20th July 57 out of target of 66 activities 6/10 for effort.
    • W/b 27th July 69 out of target of 66 activities 8/10 for effort.
Good split this week but carp on activity. Pedometer should be at 70,000 steps in a week, it's at 35,000. That's half and bad bad bad. Now given my competitive OCD nature I could double that and then never do it again, or I could do what is completely against my nature and do slow and steady and add 10% per week based on this weeks total so it doubles in 10 weeks (simple not compound interest!!).

    So targets are:

    W/b 3rd August - 38,500
    W/b 10th August - 42,000
    W/b 17th August - 45,500
    W/b 24th August - 49,000
    W/b 31st August - 52,500
    W/b 7th Sept - 56,000
    W/b 14th Sept - 59,500
    W/b 21st Sept - 63,000
    W/b 28th Sept - 66,500
    W/b 5th Oct - 70,000

What gets measured gets gone...must translate that into Latin so it's sounds more profound.

    Key jobs next week are
    1. Office complete apart from furniture.

Well slow start to the week.

Phone call today from invisible agent with a job "I'd be perfect for". So I'm in for that but based on recent experience that'll be the last we ever hear of that one!

Also had a useful conversation with another local landlord. We've agreed to an informal information share now on tenants as I've now gor one who ran out on him owing 3 months rent ... I'm going to get teeshirts made with "Rent is Not Optional" printed on them.

Painter hopefully here later to start new office - I'm soooooooo excited :T:j:T:j:T:j

I've finally signed up to mystery shopping and just passed the KFC and Pizza Hut courses.

Got my first assignment and genuinely terrified. Isn't that just pants. I'm so OCD I'll be measuring the available crust to topping ratio to see if it's acceptable or below par and the colour coded crust charts - jeezus help ma boab - stress or what.

It's me, painter handed me an inch and a half of colour strips.
    "I want yellow" says me.
"Ah but what shade?" says him.
    "About there" points me.
"Don't you want to sit down with all these books? No rush."
"Nope. Yellow. Sort of that. Done."

Pizza crust colouration charts are not boding well

Oh yes. That's a good MSE move. I'll do the first one to understand what I'm doing then we can maybe get together for Pizza and a Movie again. The one on Lothian Road was on the list...yum and they pay - double yum!
