Well, you have to remember that this is my week...no 40hr work schedule on top. All of you guys doing full days at work and then being debt busting gods and godesses are the stars.
Fringe stuff is a must do. I'm at home paperworking tomorrow so will organise then. Thanks for the tips.
Taka, we should commit to signing up and doing stuff this year.
Taka and Kissjenn solemnly swear to do somefink fringey this year.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

Hmmm my mum pointed out earlier that she has already given me a copy of the fringe guide so...
Step 1 in the fringe challenge = sort the pile of paperwork /junk mail in my hall when I get home from work as that is probably where it is lurking...:rotfl:
Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Step 1a - Kissjenn reaches behind head to really useful pile and finds fringey thing.
Step 1b - KJ sustains slight concussion from really useful pile braining her.
Be right back after these messages and quick CAT scan. Ouch:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

Step 1 completed - Fringey thing found but its scary... there are literally 1000s of shows. Is it just me or does anyone else begrudge paying silly money to see something unless you know it'll be good... by which time its usually sold out or really expensive!:rotfl:
Step 2 - have a good look through brochure... If you don't hear from me for a few days I'll be the 1 in the corner gibbering as its all to much to make decisions between that many! :rotfl:Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

I know ... there's so much.
I'm doing a paperwork round up tomorrow and will then sit down and look at the brochure. It's gone from being very cheap and cheerful to damn expensive. There used to be lots of cheap preview shows first week before things really ramped up and lots of 2 for 1s. Any like that?

I would love to be able to go to the fringe but have never yet managed it. We are just less than an hour away but very rarely make it in to Edinburgh. It is just such a nightmare to drive through and you need a bank loan to pay for parking. One of these days we might make it to the zoo but the Fringe will have to wait until I can find someone willing to go with me (DH HATES crowds) and who might possibly pay towards getting in to see some things. Love the bucket posts..my mind is organised a bit like that and whilst off i have taken the opportunity to put everything into folders..well update them anyway!
The theory is one folder per week for everything needed doing that week, then put into relevant folder when done. Just got 6 weeks to catch up on.lolBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -

We have considered that but once they dropped us off we would end up just staying in that area and not getting on other buses to travel around the city just in case we missed the bus back. Really stupid i know but that is my greatest fear regarding travel - missing the last bus, last train, connecting flight etc:oThe person who moves a mountain begins by carrying small stones.
