Hi kissjen - just dipped into your diary.... I loved watching Harry Potter this week with the family and did like the last book - although I found it much better on the second read through.... There seems to be loads of time when harry and his mates struggle to achieve anything which made for boring reading but was I felt realistic... it does get better....!

Cheers SH, I'll keep pressing on. I'm still in the tent at the moment...it could do with speeding up a little and I miss Hogwarts. I'm still waiting for my letter, think it must be lost in the post. Do you think the Ministry for Magic had to bail out Gringotts? Wonder if the Head Goblin got to quit on a full pension - £600,000 Galleons a Year...mudblood!!Spot The Difference

That's disappointing. I've just re-read the book and cannot get into the 7th one. Forcing myself to finish it but it's truly bo00dy awful. I loved the earlier books but the end just seems to be an attempt to tie up the ends.
Ah well, if the boys won't go (a) I'll save the cost of the tickets (b) save cost of lunch (c) save cost of juice and ice cream and (d) miss a rotten movie. Every cloud has a silver lining.
I went to go on Friday but the showings were sold out!! It was bedlam on the opening day apparently - people pushing each other to get in the queue etc. Especially as it was Orange 2for1 day.
Not sure when my next plan is to go and see it - which cinema do you normally go to?0 -
Ocean T is the usual now they've shut Kinnaird Park. We're in East Lothian so they're all pretty painful to get to. Weather's nicer today so may do something outside with Husky and SB and do cinema another day.
Never thought of Orange Wed - bit of a silly day to launch it??:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
We're only hanging on to OH's phone on Orange now so we get to use an Orange Weds for Harry Potter - will possibly go next week, if not the one after. I did enjoy the last book but would agree it certainly wasn't as easy a read as the others. I do like the fact that she didn't go for the child friendly happy endings throughout - I would have felt that was a real cop-out.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
