I know ... there's so much.
I'm doing a paperwork round up tomorrow and will then sit down and look at the brochure. It's gone from being very cheap and cheerful to damn expensive. There used to be lots of cheap preview shows first week before things really ramped up and lots of 2 for 1s. Any like that?
What sort of thing floats your boat?
The Park and Ride bus (X48/48) is a godsend... Its the only direct bus I can get to /from my work. It comes pretty frequently and up until ~11pm too so I can actually get home from work relatively easy until lateish! :T God I'm sad... :rotfl:Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

The theory is one folder per week for everything needed doing that week, then put into relevant folder when done. Just got 6 weeks to catch up on.lol
I think my Blue Bucket's about to be rename Sitting on my !!!!!. Pedometer readings are pitiful...maybe it's wonky :rotfl::rotfl:or maybe I need to walk lots more.

Does the park'n'ride go anywhere near the zoo. Have promised the kids we'll take them there soon. And how much does it cost? The person who moves a mountain begins by carrying small stones.

Nope...been beavering away doing unfitness things...so lardy @r$e is still there. I think I'm so far off the 10k a day I'll need to build up slowly. And then maintain it. Dogs getting lots of walks anyway so she's happy.
If you go to the Ingliston Park and Ride (just before Edin Airport) the bus goes right to the door of the zoo. Or if you take the train to Waverley or Haymarket there are buses that again go straight to the door.

PS You'll need exact change to buy tickets on the bus or from the machines. If you end up buying singles the Adult ones are £1.10 (adult) if you buy from one of the wee red ticket machines at busier bus stops instead of £1.20 on the bus!
God I sound like such a bus nerd! :rotfl: Sorry!I just live between the city centre and the zoo and don't drive so know that route pretty well!:rotfl:

Thanks Taka and KJ. I was thinking about the one on the Fife side of the bridge but it's not too far to carry on until ingliston. I take it buying a day ticket means we could go to the zoo then go on into the town centre then later back to the car park? The person who moves a mountain begins by carrying small stones.

Saving Small Boy Style
SB works in charity shop on a Friday afternoon and came home brandishing a CD - Britney Spears in all her start up glory. He was delighted with this addition to his small (and frankly awful) collection but disgusted that he'd paid 79p to download one of the songs for his Ipod. Why, well with his staff discount Britney cost 50p, thats only 5p a song so he was 74p down on the Itune transaction.
Go SB!! (I'm moving in with him with I'm eighty - he'll be a zillionaire).:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
Well Stinky flat finally destunkified and all remmants of the muppet removed. New chap moved in this afternoon so fingers crossed things go better this time.
Arrears are up slightly this month because someone didn't pay main rent but that will hopefully be resolved in coming week. Existing arrears actually dropped by over £400 so that's a good step in the right direction.
Not enjoying the hardball approach but I genuinely can't some of them to pay up otherwise. They get the money from the council they just need to pass it over aggghhhhh!
Hoping to have a day out up north tomorrow with OH, SB and Husky. Found GPS in a pile of rubbish today ... we will declutter if it kills me.
New office is now on track for being ready in a fortnight. Sad I know but I so can't wait. I'm desperate for space and filing for the small mountain of paperwork. As soon as that is built then the second business is next. Gosh, starting to feel like a plan.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0
