    Seaxwyn,

That is a very knowledgeable post and I thank you for it. I honesty just felt my heart go sink and in the vein of OHs all over, is he worried...nah cos I'll sort it :eek::eek: I'll go to the website in the morning and see if we have all the info they need. Did it cost a lot or is it quite a simple thing to reverse (given we only want to pay 2 bills and then shut it down anyway!).

Your holiday sounds wonderful. It's thunder alley up here today, sunny then the heavens open. Small husky is lying on the couch, legs akimbo, trashing me with her tail so I rub her belly and scratch her oxters...I need to be learn to articulate my demands as succinctly as that.

I don't know to be honest as I left it to the other directors to pursue - it was their fault the money was taken as I had spent six months trying to get them to agree what to do with the funds in the account. But I made the calls to the Treasury and found it all out.

OHs..... so frustrating. I've decided to stop sorting things out for mine so much. I seem to spend the whole time rescuing him from disasters and he isn't even grateful, he resents me for it.

kissjenn - what is this bucket thing?!

Buckets are groupings or categories. I'm very very bad for concentrating on one thing to the detriment of everything else. This is to force me to find and maintain some sort of balance.

So I need to get Business 2 up and running, I have the premises, I pay for the premises but then I get caught up Business 1 for a week and then the OU wants a paper then then then and whoops another month is gone.

This week is OU paper week and next week is final push on clearing what will be new office but I have to start making sure other stuff keeps ticking over as well therefore Buckets.

(And they're coloured cos I can't have stationery or mindmaps on here :naughty:) No Fair.

Well we can't track down any of the alleged paperwork. OH's sister is adamant it's not there but English CA firm is in the huff so may have seen something. I'll chase your info tomorrow and speak to the poor CA up here who's been lumbered.

I've got the Power of Attorney forms for OH now. Going to get them signed this week and then I'll take over all finance. He was useless before the blindness really became unworkable but now it's completely untenable. We could have found ways for him to retain financial independence if he'd wanted that but this is exactly what he wants. He hates banks, the whole topic of finance puts him to sleep but fairs fair, IT Linux Code and Servers and Qasar threads through unix subshells sends me to LaLa Land as well.

Hear Hear. But I hate banks & finance too, I would never have chosen to take responsibility for it.

I like your buckets. I am going to do that too, but maybe not on MSE.

I think for me I have very little interaction outside the house at the moment , certainly compared to being away from home 5 days a week, so I find it useful to have "someone" to tell what I've done. And in the best traditions of management "What gets measured, gets done!"

I'm so sad somedays I embarass even myself :o So much for internally validated :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Emailed accountant about the joys of bona vacantia "ownerless goods". Many many thanks to Seaxwyn for that.

There may be a way we can pay the Treasury £200 to get our money bank. I believe in police circles this is called a protection racket; "Oi Missus, give us 200 knicker or we can make your company disappear".

We have checked with OH's sister who is Company Secretary and not one piece of mail has come this year from Companie House...very, very strange but I suppose Gordon does need to find how ever many billions it now is to shore up the banks - that's another desk and chair I own in RBS I think.

Tried out the Braille Scrabble this afternoon. Bloodshed and cheating levels still normal, so it's not been banished to The Cupboard of Which We Do Not Speak yet. That's good cos the cupboard's pretty full :o

If you really want to go for divorce, try and source Braille Monopoly :rotfl:

I suppose if hubby has the "fabled heightened senses" of the blind, he might hear you pinching money from the bank though. Damn Spidey-sense.

Braille Monopoly is next. He wants a chess set too - time to build a bomb shelter. There's really nifty little device which lets you emboss a braille number on the edge of real paper money, biggest laugh is he thinks that means he may be allowed bank notes to practice :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

SB was watching him intently. Hand going in bag to "randomly" choose letters - letters with Braille writing on hmmmmm! Luckily he's not that fluent yet so the cheating was very obvious.
