When I first opened the account I was given a £200 limit which then increased to £500 on the 4th statement and they had never increased it after that (funnily after the increase i never used it). I then bought something on my credit card with the £500 for a friend who then paid me £100 per month then whatever interest on top to clear it off.

I then used the card, paid 80% of it off and reduced the limit to £350 recently so I wouldnt spend that much on it.

I haven't been a member on this site very long, but i've noticed that threads do go off on a tangent sometimes:rotfl:. Don't think it's a crime in MSE-land .

That sounds a bit poo doesnt it. Thats hardly anything. Why would they want to put it down to such a low amount. Not exactly encouraging you to use it are they.

I asked to reduce the amount, lol, they never did it

Its not like they were looking to increase it anyway so im better off reducing it and eventually closing the account anyway, as I dont like their customer service

I have found their customer service quite good. Especially their UK ones. Had a pleasant Geordie on the other day. Had a nice chat about things actually. Was refreshing.

I think I have bad luck then, I always get transferred to the overseas call centres I have been with c1 for almost 18 months and not once have i spoken to a person in UK, lol
