Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone had any spare Walkers Brit Trips codes that they could PM me with.

    Thank you
    Jimmy

Didn't this end around last October?
Even the draw, for people who had unused points, ended in February

It's not Brit Trips this time, it's Gary's Great Trips.

    Hi mj,

I'm thrilled to update that this is indeed a genuine fabulous competition that I have won. :j :jSo A huge thank you mj from me :T:T

I've been speaking to a lovely lady yesterday from the Sassoon PR company who had arranged the competition, who totally understood my predicament, and realised how it might have appeared to be dodgy because of the upfront payment request.

To explain, my suspicion arose because I couldn't find any details of the comp on here and the website address off my winning email was not registering. I was naturally concerned with any money request, especially as I didn't recall entering this comp (like you said, I must have clicked on the wrong link).

So I thrilled to be going on Monday for a fabulous hair and colour restyle worth about £200 :j. The £20 can be paid on the day If I want to purchase the hair products recommended, but this isn't compulsory. I think there is 6 winners who will be there on Monday, Im really looking forward to it, it will be a wonderful treat :D

Many congratulations hun - hope you have an amazing time :Tsent you a pm ;)

I'm also glad that they're honouring wins, etc :D though I need to go amend all the links to the other comps now they've changed the site :D Think I'll leave them for a day or two though, as it seems to be a work in progress atm and they might change again

Sorry, is there a question there somewhere? Have you read the comping guide? Might be better asking on the tech board if you want advice about your antivirus protection :)

  • magical - if it helps reassure you, I've been entering comps here for a few years now and haven't had any problems. Make sure you anti-virus/firewall etc. are up to date (something you should do anyway).

There's lots of advice re free anti-virus/firewall/anti-malware etc. on the Techie forum.

    Good luck entering

    Hi

Could someone give me some advice on whats the quickest way to find a member of MSE to be able to send them a PM.

I entered a comp yesterday and it was a daily so I wanted to send a PM to Gilla so she could add it to the dailies but it took me ages to find her.

    Thanks

I normally just do a search for their member name - so in Gillas case I would just type Gilla and then see what results come up:D
