The easiest way for Gilla is to open the daily thread in the regs board & click her name For anyone else, you'd need to do an advanced search.

hi, i find the quickest way is to go click on the members list
then it brings up the first initial of the name, so if you wanted gilla, click on the G,
then on the right hand side there's a box & just put gilla in, should come up straight away

I am so very annoyed spent absolutely ages trawling through hundreds and hundreds of images at the Gee Gee Images web site finding all of the 32 letters in the Gee Gee Images comp Here and trying to solve the eight word anagram only to find that the competition was closed earlier on today before I could submit my anagram :mad::mad::mad:

the T&C's stated that the comp would close at 12 midnight tonight,

I have sent a stiff complaint email to them saying that it was very unfair of them to end the competition early and also sent an email complaint to the ASA

I personally think that the competition should be declared Null & Void as they have not adhered to there T&C's

Sorry if this has already been asked , but as well as the competions on here does anyone know of any websites that are just for links for competions, I'm desperate to win a few lol. Could do with some money ones too .. Also any websites that have freebie links, I used to go on one ages ago but cant remember the name.

Update: I have just received the following email from them

"Thank you for your email, and it’s a shame that you have been upset by our competition. Unfortunately it seems like it was such a hard competition on this occasion as reflected by the lack of entries, which is unheard of considering it was over a seven day period, so I closed the competition early on this occasion.

Gee Gee Images online competition winners for this event would have been winning individual gift vouchers worth £5.00 each, we had forty set up to give away.

Although I never received an entry from you in the end as a gesture of good will please find below a gift voucher worth £5.00 which can be redeemed against any goods in our online store, and thank you for participating."

I have sent the following reply

"Many thanks for your offer,
you say that you had set aside forty £5.00 vouchers to the entrants of the competition maybe it would have been a good idea to have stated this in the how to enter and prize text of your competition

As you say it was such a hard competition to enter that is the reason that I spent so much time doing it because I thought that I had a great chance of sharing a £200 prize

I myself would certainly not have spent a considerable amout of time searching for a paltry £5.00 prize

and for you to say that you will now not be giving the full £200 competition prizes away to the correct entrants only rubs salt in my wounds and fellow entrants as I feel that I and fellow competition entrants have been mis-led albeit maybe not intentionally

surely if there where not enough entrants you should have extended the competition not closed it early

I will certainly not be taking up your offer and I will wait and see what the ASA have to say about the competition which I now think breaks there rules on two counts, I:e closing the comp early and not giving away the full competition prizes as stated"
