is anyone having problems with funkyfogey? the quiz pages are just coming up blank for me.

I always make sure that I enter the ones from Now magazine, Good to Know and Pick Me Up that elverman usually posts around midnight as they seem to get quite a few winners

I also make sure I enter from the weekly mags - Real People, Chat, Thats Life, Full House, Pick Me Up etc as they also seem to get quite a few winners

Other than those I try to keep up but Im not as bothered if I miss some - I tend to see which sites have most winners on the IWIWIW board:D

Probably about 400-500 in total, kind of new to this as well so ive been starting off slow getting the hang of it. I have an email adress solely dedicated to comping and I wake up everyday hoping for a cheeky email saying ive won something, but it never happens. I'll keep plugging away though! :beer:

Hi Chrisdayid - keep at it is my advice to you. I have been comping since mid-April and as you will see from my signature, things are starting to filter through. I have had three comp winning emails in as many days and they are all good prizes but they were from comps I entered at the very start - so end of April beginning May!

I enter about 150 a day at the mo and haven't started doing monthlies and dailies on a regular basis - still do the Galaxy, Magnum, Dorset Cereals, Gu and those ones.

Don't give up - everything comes to those that wait. I am convinced that these smaller wins (but still wins nonetheless) are leading up to something bigger and better. I am happy to win something once a week but have been pretty lucky but expect that to run out soon!

Haven't used the comp board for ages. A while Back very kindly members would list the competitions ending every day. Does this still happen?

no it no longer happens but if you look in the comping guide it tells you how to sort the competitions by date ending so it works in a similar way

Hi everyone, I have a question and hopefully some of you that have won on the ITV comps can help.

I know that some say 5 entries per phone number and some say 5 entries per household. That made me wonder if those that had won used a landline number to win on.

I always use my mobile number because I am out most days.

So basically have any of you winners won on a mobile number or is it all landlines?

Also someone mentioned entering with two diff numbers eg. yours and then OH's - just wondered if anyone had won by doing this. I don't want to risk it in case it takes me more time but also disqualifies me - They may be able to tell by IP address I was thinking.

The FAQ for ITV comps is HERE it tells you all about entries etc. These state:

We track the number of online entries via the contact number you leave for us. If you and anyone else in your household wish to enter five times each then you need to make sure that your contact numbers are different.

In the end its sheer luck and number of entries that will get you the prizes.Since the end of March I've entered about 4500 comps,not including the multiple ones such as TAB and Puzzzler.
I seem to be getting a win every fortnight but you've just got to keep plugging away.
I'd also suggest that you use an autofill tool such as Roboform.The basic version is free and will fill the comps in and remember up to 10 passwords.I have also got the free USB version so I can enter comps at break while at work. http://www.roboform.com/
