Hi there

Not sure if anybody could be kind enough to help me please but I entered a competition on here kindly posted by Darcy 13 to win a Selfridges Gift Card for £500 and the end date had been posted as 31/05. The reason I ask is that I have today missed a call from Selfridges and I do remember entering this competition. However when you click on the link on Darcy13's post it takes you to this competition but the end date appears to have changed to 15th or 16th June. Not sure what is going on or if anybody could please please offer any advice. This would be such a nice win and as the saying goes curiosity killed the cat and I am one very impatient moggy.

Thank you so much for any help you are able to give I know I am being terribly presumptious(s) and this probably has nothing to do with this competition but I haven't ordered anything from them so not sure what else it could be

Would welcome comments on whether questions should be posted on the comp threads as well as answers.

Just entered a Now Magazine competition

and midway through the comp, the site have changed the question but the answers remain similar. Had the question not been posted by Elver Man, we'd have been none the wiser that the question had changed and we would have all got the incorrect answer.

What do you think?

Hiya! Personally I think it's best to post the question as well as a lot of comps do change them from time to time and this would alert peeps! hth xxx

A question - ive done around 200-250 competitions and yet to have one little win I don't know whether im not a lucky person haha or if they log all my details that ive entered so many of their competitions before or what but its really getting me down and im jealous of people that win

remember some of the comps you have entered may not have finished yet, some may have finished but not had the winners drawn yet

what length of time have you entered them over?

wins are like buses, none for a while then several at once:D

I still don't have a system either, apart from trauling through the days pages to the ones from about 7am onwards and do it that way, im guessing that is kind of a 'system'? LOL

250 really isn't a lot of competitions, I enter thousands every month & don't win a huge amount but have had some nice wins.

Maybe try entering a few more.. the people that win a lot put the time in, the more you enter the more chance you have of winning.

Hi chrisdayid - I'm not sure what your question is but I have one. Do you mean you've done that many in total or per day, I do that many per day and have a win or two a week usually, maybe you just need to give it some time for the ones you've entered to finish.

There's lots of good info here in the guide and we're all really friendly in the inn if you fancy a chat at some point
