It should have a wireless card in it, 802.11 b/g mini pci card will probably be listed on your order confirmation pdf, this is the wireless adapter, you don't need to buy a plug in one. This will connect to your wireless router.

    Its a great machine.

That's fantastic. Thanks for your help. It's great to have nice people around to give advice.

trouble is with dell there is so much trial software on it it can affect the performance, last night I booted with the win disc and did a fresh install then used the driver disc to finish it, I'm also putting on my fav progs like power dvd, psp, office 2003 etc

I cant believe the base model for these was £280 inc vat & del, Ive seen some laptops for £2000 (faster and better spec) but If you dont play the latest games these dells are brilliant. I upgraded mine to the 15.4 inch widescreen and better battery, I also added the extra 512mb ram and a blueooth dongle so I can use internet out on the road

Received mine yesterday, great laptop for the money. BTW if you need a case the antler one posted on this forum from PC world for £24.99 is great value. Ordered one on the internet and collected at Bolton shop. Shop price is still £79 shop assistant couldn't believe it.
