If you are intending to order and a/virus software is a factor please note:
    N03135 includes 15 months Mcafee
N03136 now has none included was 90day trial
  • I'm not a techie by any stretch, but I can't find the full technical spec for the N03136 option I am looking at. How many USB ports does it have please and does it have a firewire port?

I need firewire so I can attach my digital camera and camcorder.
    Thanks
  • Hi debycoles, It has 3 USB Ports but know Firewire I'm afraid

Mine arrived yesterday, well pleased with it so far :j . Does anyone know how I can make a dvd play full screen as it only seems to play in a rectangle in the middle and not full size.

    Hi Paul,

depending on th program you are using but usually doubleclicking inside the rectangle will do the trick!!!
    Cheers!

    Hi Antonios,

I did try that but it still doesn't fill the whole screen. Do you know if it should fit to the whole width of the screen, as it is probably about an inch and a half short either side.

    Many Thanks

I Put Power Dvd On And It Fills The Whole Screen
  • I bought one online just straight from the dell website with no other discounts and got it for £330 including VAT, delivery, the larger screen and the six cell battery and it was well worth it. Ordered it last Thursday and I got it Wednesday 4 working days from order to having it is good in anyones book! It has a modem, RJ45 100Mb network card and a wireless g card. The dvd drive is a DVD+-RW and screen is nice and clear overall it's a damn good machine would recommend to anyone (just try and avoid the India based call centres if you are a generally impatient person lol )

On a side note UPS deliver it and I was out so I drove over to the Dewsbury depot which close at 7pm.. I got stuck in traffic rang them and they said someone would say in their collection dept until 7:30pm for me.... I pulled into the carpark at 7:31pm and the guy who raised the barrier for me said that they probably wouldn't let me through now.... so he rang them and claimed that a power failure had meant that I could not get in and I was waiting since 20 past so they had no problem in guiding me through and handing me my nice new laptop! UPS earned me award for understanding the words "Customer Service"
