Nope! You are responsible for any equipment on your premisies regardless of who has brought it in! Only listening via headphones is exempt. If we do not stand up to this abuse of the law then it will go unchecked and eventually the PRS will think it has got a God given right to charge whom ever they choose.

Seems like the PRS have adopted the sharp practices of Capita/TV Licensing. Given that they are immoral then I suggest that everyone treats them with the contempt they deserve.The man without a signature.0

We have been pestered by the PRS before at work asking us if we have radios etc.
TV licensing keep sending us letters too, although we don't have any TV receiving equipment at all.
Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -

Have you or any one else in your company brought an aerial. dvd recorder etc via the company? We had this when we brought an aerial for a site we were working on, because the invoice was in the Company name they assume that you have receiving equipment.

I know staff have had personal items delivered to work before, so that may be it.
