You obviously haven't looked at the feedback for Vodafone.0

I've read all that many times on here... "I've been a loyal customer for 15 years" etc. etc. Then they are on here because they had a very rude awakening - having ignored the huge and endless warning posts on here. Tell me - where are volumes of EE complaints on here every day???0

I have managed to get an iPhone 7 32gb black with EE for £30.99 p/m 24month contract. £150 upfront fee which gives me unlimited texts unlimited calls and 5gb data. Also the 6month Apple Music and bt sport. This is as a new customer going through uswitch.0

I bought a Three SIM online a couple of days ago, as their £8.99 4Gb deal was ending. EE's best deal was £17.99 for 2Gb. I was waiting for EE to unlock my phone before I phoned up today for PAC transfer code. They immediately offered to match Three's deal (except for "only" 1000 minutes), so I've stayed with them. I've just spent a joyful half hour trying to get Three's customer support to cancel the old one, as I'm in the 14-day period. Glad I didn't move - Three's automated system failed twice and just ended the calls, so I had to navigate through umpteen automated menus before I could speak to someone in an offshore call centre. They transferred me to a second person, who went through security again before tranferring me to a third person, again with the same security questions. They finally managed to get it cancelled.Jumbo

i have been with talktalk for 2 years now on a sim only contract. i started with their medium plan for 6.50 a month for 300 min and 600MB of data. at the end of my first contract, I haggled and got them to offer me 700minutes and 1.2GB data for the same price and on a rolling contract. that is when their Black friday deal came out. it offered a 1000 minutes and 3Gb of data for 5.50 a month. I swithced to it knowing that i could only better it the next year. that time has come now . i have got TALK talk to agree to give me 2000minutes and 5GB of data on the same price( 5.5) and on a rolling contract . reading Martins tips to haggle has definitely helped.
talk talks best official offer on their website is miles behind this !0 -
Just at end of contract and got mobile down to £5 and then 50p off for two phones as hubby has one and then we have the Tesco xtra app which reduces another £3 a month off. I.e. Mobile costs me for mine £1.50 a month and I have more than enough data, minutes and messages for what I need. Under contract it was £9 a month less the £3 for the xtra app so saved £4.50 a month. Not bad I thought. Challenge is can you do better??? It was easy and took 10 minutes sitting at Tesco phone shop.0

Been with 3 12 months now, 30gb data (with tethering) 200 mins call and unlimited texts monthly contract. Contract ended 05/12/17 so called up, offshore call centre, no real deals offered, tried telling me Plusnet don't allow tethering (wrong) offered me 4gb of data when i told them already 6gb minimum ! offered 8gb no tethering when i already told them i need it....!
Firmly told them look just stop the sales pitch process the cancellation....14 mins into the call by now....pac code team try selling me all the above again....for the second time, stop with the none tailored sales pitch and just process the damn cancellation !!!
Awful call from start to finish, difficult to understand the operator, far too long winded and drawn out, with no real offer. Add on they never paid the £60 Quidco cashback, still in dispute 12 months on !!
Glad to see the back of 3.0 -
I was on EE sim-only deal for £21 which gave unlimited mins, texts and 16GB data. The contract ended in August this year and I thought to hold out for black Friday deals and see what will be on offer.
On black Friday, virgin mobile offered unlimited mins, texts and data* for £20 a month. Contacted EE to ask for PAC code and they offered unlimited mins, texts and 30GB data for £15. Virgin matched the price for the unlimited deal. Got the PAC from EE and moved to virgin mobile now - which runs off the EE network anyways.
£6 saving x 12 months = £72 saved within 1 hour and hardly any hassle - the longest part was listening to hold music waiting to speak to an advisor.
* 3 different advisors at virgin confirmed there is no cap/limit on the unlimited data.Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared - Buddha0 -
You need to look for a 4G compatible phone.
In any case, 3's HSPA+ signal is not far off 4G speeds.
