Thanks everyone, just nipped on (can't keep away, I popped it in a duvet cover & placed it over a high backed chair in our bedroom, will have a look later to see if it might be worth stitching stronger/thicker ribbon somewhere , maybe top of the skirt?? to hang it up with?
Glad you like my backup dress snuggles, wondering when I'll get to wear it, maybe have a special dinner 1 evening when we are on honeymoon, anyhoo it's from swirl clothing on ebay it is a size 22-28 on though, but it is amazingly flattering on, they only have it in white listed at the mo, but email the seller I just missed 1 so emailed her & she listed 1 especially for me.Booo!!!0 -

Violetta, I have had a nightmare day (involved me standing outside my mums work in tears  Marks and spencer and Moss have a lot to answer for today!) but reading this and everyones excitement has cheered me up so much.

Glad your dress arrived. You could use two hangers to take the strain. One ordinary one with loops attached and a trouser hanger to grip it. Put some padding on the grips so it doesn't mark the dress.
Did you get your shoes?~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

It's next Friday, so not long now!!! Not as happy with my DD's dress but luckily thanks to a wonderful dressmaker known to a few of us on here I have a backup 1 for her 2 I will post pic's of her dresses over the weekend.
The colour is lush isn't it, I think the dress looks a right state in the photos though.Booo!!!0 -

some clothes dont look so good when theyre hanging - they look much better on - especially dresses. i've noticed this when i've been shopping for normal dresses before.
your dress does look lovely already though - i'm sure it'll be beautiful on.
Thats a shame about your DD's dress.
i've been looking at landy for my dress, bridesmaids, and saw a few on ebay for flowergirls. it's a bit scary just looking at pictures and hoping it'll turn up looking just as lovely. but if it saves a few pennies, i'll try it! going to try on a few dresses in october when mum comes down to visit - want to see what style suits me first:heartsmil Getting Married 11th June 2011 to the lovely Graham:heartsmilWedding/honeymoon fund so far £69000 -
assuming you have now taken pics off as it says 'pics unavailable' now.
But I'm glad it arrived and you are happy! yay!0
