Was actually able to try my dress on today, I am so pleased with it, it fit's really well although bodice could do with being a wee bit smaller, maybe I could stick some padding in my bra lol. I think I might even feel like a pretty princess next friday:o I think a few people might be in for a surprise, they are so used to seeing me in jeans & trainers.

Hi debs did you get to see it? I think it's lovely, I think finally getting to try it on properly sealed the deal. The petticoat (ebay cheapie:o) is a bit noisy though the nylon lining russles terribly, but too late to do anything about that now.
The bridesmaid dress is fine we bought it from Littlewoods the other month, it's not terribly bridesmaidy but I wanted her to have something she would wear again.
My dd's dresses are fine the straps on the milly 1 are too long & the tulle isn't as full or nice as I would like, I think she will wear the other 1 we had made , but the straps are a tiny bit short on that 1 I'll try & take photo's later.

As you all know my backup dress has arrived and fits. Thank God. At this rate it looks like I will be getting married in it!

My real dress was ordered on 12th June. The STILL haven't started making it. It was to be in pattern stage for a month and the shipping out date was to be in 8 days time.

They emailed to ask for more time and I said yes they can have more time so longs it will be here by Monday 8th September and that they had to post it by DHL delivery. They even offered me a free gift ... a matching veil or shawl. I've already paid for a shawl so I shall be asking for a refund later ;-)

I was promised pictures of my dress on Tuesday or Wednesday. Well not its Thursday. I shall leave this until tomorrow and if nothing in my box tell them they seriously need to send my pictures now and get a move on!!!

The wedding is 3 weeks tomorrow ...

i would keep on at them to ask where they are at and at what stage be firm , but if they have promised pictures tuesday or wednesady then id email them and ask for pictures today surely it cant take that long , violetta seemed to keep on at them and got the result she wanted and in time for her wedding , xx hope you get it sorted hun xx
