Another dress worry!!

They didn't reply at all so I emailed again wanting a refund if they could not do this for me. Still no reply as to whether they can meet my dates. Only this:

ooOOOOoooo Rebekah. I'm not big on excuses in business at all. Have they given you a completion date because if they have and they haven't met it then they have broken the agreed contract and you should be entitled to a refund.

The date origionally given was the 28th. This Friday. They emailed saying they are very busy and can they have extra time. If I gave them extra time I would get a free shawl or veil! lol. I already ordered a shawl with them and already have a veil. I asked for the free shawl. I shall wait until later to ask a refund on paying ;-) I also asked that this is sent by dhl 2 day delivery!

I think a lot is the language barrier, but in my book asking for more time when something has been agreed is not good enough. I had a client who asked if I could do something within a week. I said yes and delivered. Ok, I had a few sleepless nights but would have stayed up all night to accomplish what had been agreed.
A big concern like Landy shouldn't really be into asking for more time. A professional company like that should well be up to meeting deadlines.

Agree. Any way my test dress pictures are here today so that's good for now.













I think the bust bit is a little too high - it's similar to my other one. And that comes up high under my armpits. So I have asked for this to 2 be a bit lower. I'm not too convinced on the ruffled bit this time either. I think I would just like it plain.

it looks a gorgeous dress i know what you mean about the ruffling but you got to think its got none of the detail on yet im sure it`ll look gorgeous when its finished i love the shape of it tho xx

I don't know if it helps you pick but the first dress pic you put up from the landy website isn't a picture of a dress they have made.
