I see only a handful of people posting on this thread who have had fraudulent transactions on their accounts. Out of the thousands who have ordered via this website, it is highly probable that they could be a coincidnence but if you had half as much intelligence as you think you have im sure you would know about mathematics and probability.
Not sure what your babling on about not having any friends and pre-paid cards as they of course are very related to one an other aren't they?, I think someone needs to go back to school and learn about apples and oranges. Yes it is embarassing nonsense to have a bank account with Cahoot who let you have a debit card for use online which is single use to protect your security, course being as childish as you are I doubt your old enough to be able to get one. Pre-Paid cards are a very viable method for use online. Cahoot, IVOBank and Neteller all offer these types of one use cards free of charge to anybody. So excuse me if my security conciousness is embarrasing nonsense!.
You are not highlighting anything, you are trolling. Pure and simple, you have already told people that you suspected the site was unsecure as you have had fraudulent transactions on your account yet you have brought it up several times since!.
Now excuse me while I get back on topic and help people who are asking legitimate questions in this thread because I won't be answering you again.
I an unconcerned about "how it appears to you".
I am posting facts, not conjecture.
As to your "nonsense" about prepaid cards....are you suggesting that on seeing a 'bargain' on an unsecured website, that one should apply for an account with Cahoot on the spot?
Maybe you trying removing yourself from the bubble in which you live.
I post the information for others, just as they do for me.
I know about security, others don't. To label them stupid because they didn't know marks you down in my opinion.
I have reiterated many times that I knew beforehand and yet you still babble on about your Cahoot account.
I was prepared for fraudulent usage and thus prepared the ground for it. There was no loss nor inconvenience.
Let me make it clear. I tested the website with a specific credit card because there were concerns about the website.
I have little need nor use for the dongle. It is still sitting in it's original box, within the original envelope.
Experiment under controlled conditions. Reported the result.0

            Yes £5 also.
I'll give them a ring and see what they say - I got the impression that it was not a "payment" issue from the "error message" >> "you already validated this order."

Maybe you can clear your cookies and sign in again. Also, you can try adding an 's' to the http on the payment payment page and accept the security certificate before proceeding to enter your card details.0

I wouldn't try paying again, have they taken anything out of your cahoot account?. From the sound of that error its as if the payment has been taken and it is refusing you paying a second time. I got an invoice in my spam folder after I had paid, so worth checking if you have any emails. Otherwise yes, probably worth giving them a ring.0

Thanks for the quick reply. Most appreciated.
Anyone know about PAYG options abroad with local providers for France for instance???
Or which UK one might be the best one to use in france, among other EU countries.

Is this sim a typical sim for voice calls?austinrodeo wrote: »Anyone looking for occassional light usage may want to consider using a Virgin Mobile Pay as you go SIM.
This works great in my unlocked USB dongle (using the instructions in this thread) and Virgin only charge £0.30 per day for up to 25MB of usage. I know that 25MB isn't much but it's enough for me to check my email and a few web pages occassionally. Speed is good as well as long as you're in a 3G reception area.0

Well mine came within a couple of weeks, is now installed using a topup from the petrol station and working very nicely thanks. It installed on my Mac with the minimum of fuss and so far speed on UMTS (the middle of the three different access speeds) is pretty impressive. Will be interested to see what it is like when I use it in a full 3G area.0
