The Mystery Shopping thread - VIII

I am not posting this as an alert as I am not sure if it was just released, but I just got a local catalogue shop with ABAi which definitely was not in the list before so might be worth other people rechecking.
I had put my details onto some of the booked visits so what normally happens if you do that? As if this was a release I presume they would then offer it to me next as I had shown some interest. If that option does not work in ABAi i would love to know so I dont waste my time anymore0 -
I have just come across some different banking scenarios for GFK - I guess it is a new wave. Anyhow I did not want to miss out on them so even though I have a query I have taken them. Anyhow in the notes it states that you cannot be self employed???? now I am really not understanding what I am reading as as mystery shoppers we are all self employed are we not thus how can any of us do this work??? Sorry I am REALLY confused about this assignment - if anyone can explain I would greatly appreciate it.
I accepted one of these jobs and, like you angel13, when I read the notes I saw that they were saying you needed to be employed. I can't understand why, as its no different to one that I did a couple of weeks ago for a different bank. I released it though as I thought that GfK would know I shouldn't have accepted it as I put on my initial application that I wasn't in full time employment.
They should make it more clear on the brief assignment notes that you see before accepting the job.0 -

Yup, they should pay every 5th and 15th working day but occasionally I've had payments not made until the later date for no apparent reason. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Oh no that can't be good!!!
I picked up a petrol one, so for me I class that as a good day! Haven't done a petrol one yet so that'll be exciting.
Keep checking a couple of sites, but it seems that most of them update about 5pm-6pm I usually find. Seems to be a rush then for some reason!TWBM 2010 Wishlist:

A couple of times I've received an additional payment at the beginning of the month as well though. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
