Quick help needed! I was supposed to do a wine shop today - between 12 and 6pm, and had something urgent crop up. It's just up the road from me, and they are open until 10pm. There's no other date that I can change it to (it's with RE) and I'm wondering if it would be worth it to go now?

Probably not worth the risk of not getting reimbursed. Email them and ask for another day or just release it. I'm in agreement that I don't think the points mean zippydedoodah on RE tbh.

I figured that I might not be reimbursed, but did it anyway. At the worst it's a small amount spent for a bottle of wine that we will drink, and it was a very short walk away.

Hopefully it won't count against me too much, and interesting to hear that RE points might not be that important!

There are two dedicated mystery shopping forums The Office, which anyone can join and MSUK which is referral only by an existing member.
How does one get referred to MSUK. I did join The Office but forgot about it. I'll try to log in and start using it again. Thanks for the reminder.

    Hi

Im just wondering would they had any way of knowing you had returned the goods if you took them back a week later??

    Thanks

Maybe ebay them if you really have no use for them. Much safer than returning as above post says. I exchanged an item I had MS'd the other day - was exchanging for a garment of a higher value so I felt I was on safe ground. The clerk took my name and postcode for their records (which is standard for returns) so I guess it wouldn't be too hard to trace you.... unless you lied! (didn't think of that:A, but the receipt would give you away anyhow...).

For those undertaking Pizza assignments for Gap - note that a new menu was issued yesterday, all the usual pizza things are there, (not sure on some of the alternative new pasta options) but most of the desserts have changed. Check and make sure you order one that still appears on the questionnaire if you want to avoid any hassle at the inputting stage.

Do you ever do bank enquiries miles away from your real address? I have loads listed for my "other" address but I feel I shouldn't do them because I'm suppose to give my real details, i.e. name, address etc and I think it will be suspicious if I'm enquiring at a bank miles away from where I live.

Lots of people work quite a distance from their home address or even work away from home. I think it'd be easy to slip in that you work in the area.

I sometimes just say my parents live locally and I am often in the area , or sometimes just say I dont want to give my address at this stage , just my phone number.

I have just come across some different banking scenarios for GFK - I guess it is a new wave. Anyhow I did not want to miss out on them so even though I have a query I have taken them. Anyhow in the notes it states that you cannot be self employed???? now I am really not understanding what I am reading as as mystery shoppers we are all self employed are we not thus how can any of us do this work??? Sorry I am REALLY confused about this assignment - if anyone can explain I would greatly appreciate it.
