    Hi Cbm

I'm like you with Ebay - I'll never make my fortune on it. I just look on it as a way to make a small (very!) profit from decluttering! You're very busy today. So far I've mopped the floors before I set off for work, walked 3 miles to work and sat around at my desk working out budgets (personal not work but at least I look as though I'm working!).
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • The training meeting was really good last night - 4 people completed and another helped on their way :D.
I managed to get everything done yesterday except the couple of hours on the report - t'is a shame - not many extra hours around in local gov't at the mo and I'm not sure when I'll get the opportunity again. Never mind.

I got both the mis-sent ebay parcels back and re-posted them yesterday, I hope the feedback isn't too awful.

Today I'm working from home (and need to get that report done). I've done the laundry, its now all over the radiators and one load in the tumble dryer. I've also run the hoover round and tidied up, so nothing else essential to do in the housework department. Banks and scratchie etc done - all ok.

I may try and fit in Rosemary at lunchtime  as it will encourage me to actually stop and have a lunchtime -insert roll eyes smiley here!

The only other thing I want to try and do is finish the listing of this week's five ebay items on turbolister.

    Have a good day all.

  • Thursday, and all is well!

I used Shell vouchers that I got from the Bzz campaign to pay for petrol last night, and saved £36 which I've moved to the MBNA card (before I got tempted!!!), and the survey money has cleared so that's knocked another chunk off :D. Also I won a £10 love to shop voucher yesterday so I get to go to Boots again - hooray!!

I didn't manage to get Rosemary done though - so that's two days of not really doing anything physical. I will really try today.

    Payday tomorrow - hoorah!
Hope all of you with paydays today are now feeling relieved - we made it through January without credit cards - phew!

Hi Cbm - I think everyone should have an End of January celebration this weekend! What a month! Now I know why we usually go on holiday in January. Well done on your new total - another step closer to debt freedom!

Lemon Tree - maybe the novelty's wearing off! I'll also be glad to get to the end of February, it'll be yet another tight month for me no doubt!

  • Lemon Tree - you're under £20K :j:j:j
Is there a celebration on another thread?!

I've done banks etc and have managed to find enough to bring total down to £2,000, which is great. I'm not sure we'll be able to find any other money this month, apart from the ebay offerings!

I'm planning a relaxing Saturday, lovely to see the sunshine! Hope to find some stuff to ebay next week, if OH can take piccies over the weekend rather than after work in the dark, I think it will be easier.

    Have a good weekend all...

Tight month here too in February - a bit like Lemon Tree said I should have been more disciplined in January!!!!!

I will have to investigate further into the exercise class which includes a bit of the Tai CHi - I'm sure I saw it advertised - you watch it'll either be in the day when I'm at work or on a THURSDAY - everything is on THURSDAY LOL LOL LOL

Enjoy your Boots spends - treat yourself to something nice.

  • Body Balance is not in the slightest bit energetic - its a lovely mixture of Tai Chi, yoga and pilates, set to music with the same music & choreography for about 12ish weeks so you get to learn routines. It does make me achey (but not like Rosemary Conley video) and I 'glow' from the exertion of encouraging my body to hold posturesl Could you go and have a peep halfway through a class? The first 5 - 10 minutes is a tai chi warm up, and the last 5-10 is relaxation... so you'd be better off looking in the middle! I think there are body pump, body attack, body combat and body step from the same stable - which all look a bit too 'active' for me, I prefer the 'stretch and balance' type exercises.

Sorry to quote myself - I just wanted to check you had seen this Milann?
