:hello: CBM
Three cheers for your three reasons!
Fantastic MS best I've ever heard.
You could curl up with a teeny bar of chocolate
Have just noticed your sig - fantastic!!!!Snowball DF Nov 2017Jan 2011 MBNA £2634.66 Feb £2608.37 Mar £2561.860 -
glad you had 3 reasons to be cheerful
I went swimming today, first time in about 5 years and for some reason i feel a little bit happier or in control. I do also feel very achy, so i bet i'll be worse tomorrow.0 -
Hang onto those cheerful thoughts cbm - sounds like you had a carpy couple of days before them!!
Roll on Thursday - it's payday for me. But it's ds birthday on Friday - so another expensive week. But that'll be the last of the expensive birthdays until next October - we have all the close birthdays one after another around Christmas - I only buy token gifts for everyone else - so can get myself into a better saving regime after this payday in readiness to pay off 0% cards before they run out in Sept.
Your new debt balance is looking fantastic - won't be long now :money::beer: :money:

Hope everyone had a good weekend? The training course was ok yesterday, took OH as needed another trainer and afterwards we went walking - jolly cold but nice to see some sunshine.
Four of the five ebay items that finished yesterday sold, and one of them sold for £5.50!!! These were all things I listed at 99p as I haven't sold for quite a while and wanted to build up feedback, so I'm really pleased.
I'm not working today or tomorrow but have an awful lot that I want to do. Being realistic today I will try to:
Meal plan, shopping list
Tesco trip (using gift card that DS had for christmas and couldn't use)
Wrap and post ebay items I've been paid for
Complete CRB form for job#2, mine has run out. Take into the office
Find 5 items to list on ebay and get OH to photograph
Change sheets
Wash linen & towels
Body balance
Kitchen floor needs washing again - need shrugging smiley here
Better get to it

Ahh, it was quite a lot of MS, that took me quite a lot of time in December, it would be fab to be paid that much for one *dreams*Lemon_Tree wrote: »I went swimming today, first time in about 5 years and for some reason i feel a little bit happier or in control. Funny how exercise does that to you isn't it! Hopefully you weren't too achy afterwards?

I have DS1 in October, DD in November, and OH in December - so a whole series of birthdays at a silly time of year! Fortunately that's it then til DS2 in June. I hope you found something nice for DS birthday - and enjoy the day with him.

hi, my arms and sholders were aching for a little while, but i'm off swimming again tomorrow and on friday. I've decided to join the gym once my swimming tickets are finished and i've built up some stamina.
i'm off this week so i've got to turn off this machine and start working on covering the sofa again, i've already started it and we've got new covers for the arms, and front, just need to sort the rest of the body out and then i can work on the cushion covers which i hope will be the easiest bits. I really like what i've done so far whichi guess is a bonus.0 -
Hi Cbm - just noticed your signature! Fantastic!! You'll soon be debt free! Hope things have picked up since your bad day last week.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

What is body balance CBM - seen the classes advertised at my gym but think it will be a bit too energetic for me. I'm missing my Tai CHi classes as this course I'm doing for work is on the same night - WHY - is EVERYTHING I want to do on a THURSDAY night - there are 6 other nights but like buses it'a all or nothing!!!!!!

Hi Lemon Tree
You're very brave covering a sofa - I just wouldn't know where to start! Any chance of a piccy when you're done so we can admire it for you?Sun_Addict wrote: »Hi Cbm - just noticed your signature! Fantastic!! You'll soon be debt free! Hope things have picked up since your bad day last week.
Getting better thanks Sun Addict. What is body balance CBM - seen the classes advertised at my gym but think it will be a bit too energetic for me. Lol at the buses, but its a shame you're missing your class.
Body Balance is not in the slightest bit energetic - its a lovely mixture of Tai Chi, yoga and pilates, set to music with the same music & choreography for about 12ish weeks so you get to learn routines. It does make me achey (but not like Rosemary Conley video) and I 'glow' from the exertion of encouraging my body to hold posturesl Could you go and have a peep halfway through a class? The first 5 - 10 minutes is a tai chi warm up, and the last 5-10 is relaxation... so you'd be better off looking in the middle! I think there are body pump, body attack, body combat and body step from the same stable - which all look a bit too 'active' for me, I prefer the 'stretch and balance' type exercises.Jan 08: Debt £15,211  Debt cleared April 30th 2010Proud to have dealt with my debt! Yesterday was ok, did all that I hoped to apart from that kitchen floor. In the evening we went round to some friends' house, and I had the chocolate tray bake on a plate in front of me for the evening . I'd like to say that I resisted temptation but I didn't
.
One of the ebay items sold last week was a coat of DS2. It had a broken zip on a pocket but was otherwise in good condition. I thought I'd ebay it for 99p and hope someone could get some use out of it. I weighed it as just under a kilo - £2.70 postage so charged £3 - effectively a nice waterproof coat for £3.99. When I took it to the P.O they weighed it as just over, and it would be £4.41 2nd class, or £4.45 1st, so I paid for 1st - seemed daft not to, but by the time you take off ebay and paypal fees I made quite a loss. I'm not very good at this ebaying lark (insert shrugging smilie here).
I've done banks etc all ok. Today I plan to:
Wash kitchen floor
Hang more laundry out to dry
A couple of hours work (additional hours) to get report finished
Go into town and go to Boots (have lovetoshop voucher from survey, and £5 voucher that expires soon). Hope to get some moisturiser without spending any money. Cycle in and out as its good for me!
Get paperwork ready for this evening - training assessments (vol work)
Fit in a burst of Rosemary when I get back from town
Have a good day all
