did my 1st survey in ages and got screened out  hope you have better luckJanuary spends - £587.580

Surveys are a pain aren't they. I hate it when you get quite a long way in and then get screened out. I find the mystery shops - online - much better, they still take quite a while but the money is more reliable and mounts up (as you can see from my sig). Now we're a bit less stretched I'm able to do the surveys where you buy stuff and send it back (so get a refund after a while), and get paid for doing so.
We went for a walk in the sunshine this morning, lovely, then OH bought me a coffee 'for being the project-mistress that has master-minded the saving of several thousand pounds'!!!!!

I have big plans for today, plan to get kitchen / utility cleaned, all the bedding washed, and run the hoover round downstairs. The house is looking quite grubby, I think its the sudden attack of sunlight!
I'm also hoping that we can go to John Lewis - I had some vouchers for my birthday in May and I'm hoping to find one or two of these: jeans, purse, handbag, spice rack, kitchen knife. We were going to put the money towards a dishwasher but found it much cheaper on another website so still have the voucher.
Enjoy what's left of the weekend!

How was the clearing? Sunlight has a nasty habit of sneaking up on you:j realised my windows needec cleaning earlier ......the cat loved the sun though.
Did you go spend your vouchers?Proud to be dealing with my debt:eek:
TOTAL: £6,437 (04/01/2013) slowly but surely it is decreasing:D0 -
what's sunlight? nope don't think we have much of that at the moment.0

Not much luck in John Lewis yesterday, they didn't have half the things I wanted. Ended up getting a purse (definitely MS as the other one let money out without opening LOL) (just don't ask how much it cost) a calendar, and some bin bags!
Did think at one point about doing a Waitrose supermarket shop with it instead, so I'd have the cash to go somewhere affordable!
We also went to Ikea, looking for that spice rack, couldn't find one so OH came home and has started making me one.
Not much in the way of sunshine this morning, very cold here. Will go and do a 'bodybalance' class in the morning - wonder if I'll be able to bend after christmas indulgence!
Cheers all

Yuck! Just been out in car after DS2 has used it a few times, I had to fill it up with fuel as itwas in the red  which stresses me out and could smell kebab v strongly so thought I'd check under the seats. No kebab, but half bottle of coke, toilet roll, mcD spoon, pink sticky thing, jaffa cakes (under one seat) jaffa cake packet (under another), 23p, brown round sticky thing, ice scraper and my satnav. I'm not very impressed at all!
But I will add it to my list of boring things to do today and then I can cross it off:
[STRIKE]Declutter underneith seats in car[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Declutter DS1's room which has been used for parcels etc over christmas - looks like a sorting office.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Go to gym[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Grocery shopping & tidy fridge[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Start ebay and charity bag piles[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Wash kitchen floor[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean cupboard doors in kitchen and utility[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Make pizza bases and sauce for tea[/STRIKE] - in progress anyway
[STRIKE]Admin for charity work[/STRIKE]
Yawn!

Brrr, I've been out to do some work - alas voluntary - but a visit to a very nice lady, about a 40 mile round trip though and I'm woosie about driving in ice! Lots of things planned again today:
[STRIKE]Put clean linen onto DD bed and hoover her room[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Declutter electrical/computer equipment in study[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Install new free BT router (#3) that has been sitting under chair for 2 months[/STRIKE]
Make decisions about router #1 and router #2 - ebay or charity bag
[STRIKE]Clear up shreddings spilt all over floor when playing with pc wires [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Empty dustbins all over the house[/STRIKE]
Trip to cinema (thanks seefilmfirst) at 6.30 with OH
Tagliatelli for tea
Make hobnobs for healthy oaty pickmeup
I think I have less to do when I'm at work!!! Some of these jobs have been waiting for quite a while - I imagine we'll be glad when they're done.
Cheers
