I had to wait a few more hours to withdraw the money for BB as the failed (sub £20) transaction counted as my withdrawal for that 24 hour period. I'm very pleased as won again yesterday - £20 :j

The £10 is in my bank account and I've just transferred it to the play.com card.

This is another flying visit during my lunch hour as I've had a bit of success that I wanted to log.

Phoned RSPB re missing order, HDN said they'd left the stuff in the back porch (we don't have one) so its in the wrong house/street/town and RSPB are sending a replacement order. :T

The joint account is still in credit - just - which is pretty impressive on the 17th of the month. I'm trying everything to keep it that way. The account is likely to hit overdraft by the end of the month though, without remedial action!

Received nearly £50 back from the water company; credit balance on the account. That will go to the overdraft.

Job #2 has paid early (for christmas - forgot they did this). I want to see how much the overdraft needs bailing out first, then I'll transfer the rest to the CC. I hope there is some 'rest' left!

BB £20 winnings have reached my bank account so I've transferred to the CC - just another £2920 left to find... :rotfl:

Catch up properly later - off to the office now .

Good news on the parcel - hope it gets to you in time.

I'm trying using a reward cc card and trying to keep cash in bank account to pay it all off - so far so good. If I can do it this month I should be ok with it - I'm a bit wary though as I don't want to fall back to old ways - not used to having cash in account even though it is spoken for - mustn't let it burn a hole in my pocket!!!!!

great news about the parcel. I'm still waiting for the one i ordered 2 weeks ago which they 'forgot' to tell me was out of stock, just wondering how long i should wait before i go and buy it elsewhere as it's a chrissy pressy.

Hi all
I'm still feeling buzzy about yesterday's win, OH got £50 in love to shop vouchers at work for doing something particularly good too, so a good day all round.
We put up the tree and a few decs last night, must admit that they drive me nuts and so I suggested just tinsel over pictures, but it does look a bit bleak.
DS2 came back last night, his mate went up to fetch him and spend a few days up there, but I think he sees why the 300 + mile journey is better done in a plane than in a car through the snow. :eek: Fortunately they got back ok, and he's off to work today and hopefully will get quite a few shifts over christmas.

I got £1 on butlins this morning, normally that would make me very pleased but I'm spoilt now with the bingo!! Won £3.50 on early morning BB but seemed a lot of faff to put in £16.50 to be able to withdraw it so have played it.

Hooray OH present just turned up, the replacement from RSPB. 3 of the 4 items were inside it but at least there is something to open!!

I'm trying to work from home but really can't settle, I don't know what's wrong with me today . Need a kick up the wotsit I think!
I've had a peep at BB and won £5, so I've deposited and withdrawn that. I won £3.50 and £3 yesterday and the day before, but it didn't seem worth the palava of depositing to get at it so I played (and lost).

Financially its going to be touch and go with the joint account. I transferred £200 of my job #2 money today to keep it out of overdraft, and more will be needed I think, depending on how the groceries work out. Pay day feels like a very long way away!

Things are pretty well sorted for christmas. Tree is up, presents wrapped, shopping list for last grocery shop is written and we'll go one evening. Just need to get DD organised, she's left it v late and the trains are expensive. :rolleyes: I'm working until Wednesday - or am trying to.

Hope the postman brings something exciting today, a little surprise would be lovely!
