Woohoo more stars here I come lol. I managed to get a bit more done. I am now taking it easy for the rest of the day as my foot is hurting again. The consultant said it would take about 6 weeks for the bone to heal completely so I can only do a bit at a time. I was planning on ironing later but my mum, she lives with us in the granny annex, has said she will do it.

TOOTS - Can I have a star please? I completed Mondays now too

After my reflexology session the pain and stiffness all seems to have gone :j, but I need to take it easy to make sure it doesn't come back. I now need to do a castor oil pack, so have to prepare for the mess! Once it's on, I'll need to have a full hour lying down and keeping warm. It's the first one I've done, so we're not quite sure what the results will be.

    Off to find:

    castor oil
    old t-shirt
    cling film
    hot water bottle
    old towels
    blankets
    book

    hopefully that's everything covered.

Once it's done I then need to:

    wrap my brother's birthday present
Level 1 kitchen & utility room
    move laptop upstairs
    make batches of wedding cake
    one load laundry
empty another load of stuff from the car into the garage
Level 2 kitchen & utility room
    check internal vacancies
update CV and persuade someone to review first draft...

lil-me - I'd leave your DD the same for another couple of months as it's better to be in credit than in debt. If you have more than 18 months data, and can confidently predict what your consumption will be and therefore what your DD needs to be, then you can probably have the conversation about reducing it. Once smart metering and monthly billing come in life will be so much easier!

GnB - good luck with the studying

boddy - hope you feel better soon. Lots of hot drinks, and wear a blue necklace or scarf to protect your throat chakra (well, it can't do any harm :D)

toots - maybe you should try the blue scarf/necklace as well. I know its hard when you're not feeling well but want to keep on top of things. Maybe you could make your own list of must-dos each day and post it for us? A little light dusting and hoovering, and the odd S&S of the kitchen and bathroom are fine, but no washing of windows, clearing out of cupboards or moving of furniture please! You can deal with the rest when you are better, or if necessary, ask someone to help you out.

Hugs & positive vibes for all those with children going through exam stress. I remember being incredibly difficult (more so than usual ;)) during GCSES and A levels, but Carol is certainly closer to it in terms of recent experience, so I'm sure she will be in a good position to advise.

Right... really must go and get myself prepared for this castor oil thingy

I can't settle to sleep, I just keep tossing and turning so I've given up and I'm sorting out bookmarks as well as facebook apps and the orange email. I'm not as tired as I was when I got up this morning. I am however going to go and find my glasses...I put them in my school bag and haven't worn them for about a month...that may explain the headaches etc :o

Decluttered so far : approx 2000 emails, and rejigged over 100 bookmarks as I delete identical ones.:o

Also on cup number 4 or 5 of tea... I may have to resort to putting the fire on though as I'm still cold

    Morning all

Lots of people having a hard time:( Whether it's health or relationships or money, I hope things get better for everyone soon.

Two loads of washing out on the line, blowing well but the atmosphere is damp so I'm not sure how well it will dry.

I did the kitchen yesterday Toots, so a star for that please.

Today I've done the bathroom. I don't think that's been up yet so I'll repost on the right day ;)

I've made a savoury crumble for dinner using a recipe I found on here somewhere. Never had it before so let's hope it's nice!

Still got some catching up to do, back later.
