Krystal - pleased he is home. £69 is very good, although I appreciate it was about more than the cost.

ellieo, sorry to hear about your little one. :( I wish you well and somehow you find the culprit.

So glad your little cat is ok. My rescue cat escaped only a week after we got him but luckily we found him 7 hours later hiding under next doors car feeling very sorry for himself! i was out of my mind with worry so I can sympathise how worried you must have been.
I suspect he'll be quite wary of cars now! Keep us updated. x

Krystal, plenty of people are quick to slag off the RSPCA but they have done a wondeful job caring for your cat,and at such low cost too.It would have been a LOT more than that at a vets!

Hope he continues to make good progress.

Thanks froglet, I couldn't be happier with the service we got from the RSPCA, and my MIL was asking if I told them I got tax credits to see if they would reduce the bill, but how could I complain about a bill that small for all they did for him?!

Even better news, I rang my own vet this morning and told them how he was and how he'd been fine in the night and they said they didn't need to see him unless he deteriorates in anyway... Apart from a graze on his side, he's perfectly fine now which is a real relief!

This sounds like a happy ending ...........having used up one of his nine lives, and quite bit of your nervous energy.

Great news, you've certainly been kept on your toes though havent you? Glad hes doing well though.
Hows his sister being with him? Hopefully once the horrible vet smell has worn off, she wont be so bad with him.

She's actually a bit of a wotsit at the moment and won't come in the house! She was a little off with him prior to his accident which we put down to him maybe trying it on with her while we were not looking... But he's been neutered and we've never seen him try it on... But since he came home she's been even worse... Spitting at him, racing out of the room when he comes in... He's a little bewildered by her... And the older cat we have with the agoraphobia and borderline personality disorder is absolutely fine with him now, they had a little play yesterday! We're hoping to get all 3 of them in tonight and put them in the kitchen as normal and see if she gets over herself...

our lovely little cat scooter, got run over on thursday night, the driver didnt stop and left her in the middle of the road. picking her ashes up next week
she was only 9 months old how we miss her

    That's awful.
I once ran over a cat and was devastated. When I hit it I screamed and my son who was in the car (approx age 3) asked what it was.
We have cats and I love them so much. I couldn't stop and leave my son in the car, nor could I take him out and upset him by seeing the poor thing.
I told him with tears in my eyes that it was just a white plastic bag that had made me jump.
I drove straight home, dropped son off with my hubby and drove straight back to the scene but it had gone.
It was a horrible feeling and one that I'll never forget.
