where are my manners? - welcome Nadine!

Fay I had problems finding kudzu online at H&B, it doesn't come up under k in the A-Z, I think I searched it in the end (can't remember, just know I had probs but I wasn't buying just looking to see if on offer). What a waste of a sentence, no help at all! Not wasting the effort though!!

My friend who said she has an alch free house immed told me she had a couple of bottle in  when I got there but FOR ONCE I stuck to my guns, it being only day 2 & I can't keep on giving in at the slightest provocation! But then we talked for an hour about our drinking which made me want one more & more!! She's the only person who knows how much I drink & vice versa; she's interested in this forum I am debating having someone I know well on here; is that selfish? I reckon she'd soon guess which is me, so to speak!! On the other hand I'm not relating anything on here she doesn't know anyway - what would you guys do, please?
    )

I know what you mean - I am trying to get a chum to join, as well, but we don't live close to each other (I dont live close to anyone!!) if you think you she can do with the support and you wont feel too crowded then maybe its a nice thing to do for her?

But depends how much you want someone you know hearing about your things?

SO utterly carp answer from me :)

Waves to Nadine - welcome - your story sounds very like mine - hello and welcome aboard :)

Thank you for the update & lovely warm & welcome post BB :T

I was worried the world was running out of Kudzu :eek::eek: so I legged it down to my nearest H&B and bought 2 more bottles :rotfl::rotfl:
Well, I used to worry about the world running out of wine so it makes a nice change

Hope everyone is ok tonight xx :grouphug:

Yes Im much better, thanks for caring Budgie. I feel the crunchie helped my well being (does that count for the May challenge:D)

Now can we have an update soon about how YOU are please .....thank you:D:D

Glad to hear you are feeling better sweetheart :) and of course the crunchie can count for the May challenge, well if it helps your wellbeing :rotfl:

I am a bit tired to be honest and I am struggling at work to see the computer after this blinking update we have had, I am not kidding the writing is teeny weeny compared to how it was before

I can't change the resolution as it then loses half the content  My boss is trying to sort something out for me, because I really am ready to chuck it through the window

After 8 and a half hours looking at it each day I have a big big headache. Sorry to moan but you did ask :rotfl:

On a brighter note I am hoping for some sun this weekend as my garden is looking quite nice :D and after my 8 month long battle with N power (I won't go into the details hey my post would be a long one). They have let me have a 1k worth of electric as compensation :T (I haven't paid a bill since last September, my account on hold and a lot of mistakes by N Power etc. Though on the bank holiday we just had I did get a call in error from a debt collecting agency  I remained calm as it was in error but even so.........................

Still I ended up building up a good relationship with the nice lady at N power who after months of stress has sorted it out for me :T I have a thankyou card and some chocs that I am sending her as she has been fab. But the stress was awful, my Ds at one point had to ring up as it was making me ill.

Oh and though Mr BB is still looking for a job, he has had nearly a £500 tax rebate :T

Problems taxing my car as I have lost my log book and have had no reminder  I have had to pay £25 for a new log book and when it comes I can then get my tax. Its crazy you can't sorn or tax a car without a log book or reminder. Hey ho should be here by Friday.

So better go now. bet you glad you asked how I am matey :rotfl: Btw thats the condensed version :rotfl:

Glad you are better matey and lots of love and thanks for asking ;)

    :o I've been bad tonight.

I went and did the opposite of everything I keep saying and had a drink when it wasn't a special occasion or a weekend and was quite late in the evening.

I had a very long (5hrs) and stressful meeting and told myself (when driving home alone) that if it had been with colleagues we'd have gone to the pub or for a meal afterwards. I came home, had something to eat and then had a drink at about quarter to ten. I was a bit restrained, only half a bottle left over from Sunday not my usual all or nothing (desite having my hand on the next bottle ready to open). But no AF today

Fortunately plenty of days left to come in on target and not so much to drink that I'll feel hungover tomorrow.

Good to hear lots of you guys doing great and thanks 40SM for volunteering for June.

DH said "" . I said " I'm not allowed beer". DH said "give it here then ". Isaid " I've lost my point now so I might as well finish it. See what happens when you take your eye of the ball . AND i now have a banging headache.
